bennz & cocolate: good place, especially when you're starving at 2 in the morning. Dinner offer still stands for taking that picture of 100+ wins. (even for dimsum, at the risk of going broke... yes, bennz, I'm looking at you!) You guys gotta come to mississauga though. Take a bite out of dimsum instead

(just don't scream a lot in playdium... they might get a bit scared)

I don't know why you'd opt to have a big gathering at Playdium for MT.

Cab 1 - Wheel is off-centre
Cab 2 - no force feedback
Cab 3 - graphic artifacts usually while racing Osaka (happens 80% of the time, I find) and is, when it happens, unplayable, as the artifacts take up the ENTIRE screen and you can't see.
Cab 4 - Wheel is also off-centre, AND it occasionally resets whenever it feels like it.

Plus, the games are more expensive than Orbit when spending $20 at either location, even with the discount that Marv or whoever it was can get.

I only go there on fridays if I'm in the area and that's because I can rack up wins and spend relatively little money doing so. Having a big gathering of a bunch of skilled players is going to be a way more expensive venture overall than going to Orbit.

they were nice enough to host us there... figured we'd return the favour with worse machines

machine 3 is bad on a certain part of osaka, but we're trying to stay away from osaka anyway. if not, there's a route you can take where it won't glitch. the first 500 m of hakone glitches as well on inbound, but it was ok after that.

off centre wheels and no force feedback... i'm curious to see how well they race under "subpar" conditions

but all kidding aside, it's mainly more for them to visit mississauga and go around. (possibly sq 1 shopping, and go karting at formula kartways if people are really really willing)

ling was an old dude probably 30's to 40's and wore gloves to play maximum tune. Thats all i can remember of him
