I got all my colours unlocked in like 6 weeks playtime when the game first hit Toronto, no joke.

I just renewed recently, and I had picked Lance Blue as my starting colour like I always do because I think it's an awesome colour, so I went back to it.

Blues: Just race my crowns to hold you over, lol.

Don't bother contacting anyone to come specifically for me because, like I already said before, I'm not gonna be there this Saturday!

Grr... not a pleasant day... I'll skip the races because the main issue is with the machine.

coworker (CW) and I walk in, and machine 2 is off. After a couple of LOOOOONG races (refer to holden for details - way to hold back on the kid challenging you by staying in 2nd gear), and some guys picking on CW getting owned on Osaka despite 2 or 3 screen glitches, and having to drop off CW because other people came up with random plans last minute despite me planning this wangan outing since monday, other people get off the machine. At this point, the only people playing are me, holden, and "other guy" (OG). We figure let's reset the machine since we're the only ones here and it can link up. holden and OG stay on the look out while I go behind the machine and turn them on by myself - didn't think machines would have to be turned on at the same time. After a long wait of linking and calibrating, machines say they have to be turned on at the same time. At this point, didn't really care. What was odd though, was the 2nd machine had 0000/0991 for merging data, while the others had 0000/1000. Figured, ok, what's the harm? At this point, Sara* comes in. holden, OG and I start a 3 way battle, and invite Sara* to join. She does a story mode chapter, while holden OG and I have a yoko battle. Pre race screen, OG and holden's screen show the cars sliding in, while mine's black. A half second later, my screen starts with the cars sliding in. Ok, that was weird. Race starts, and DURING the "3-2-1-go screen", you already see my car falling behind before it even said go. I try to race but the lead just keeps going up and up and up even with boost on, as if I was going 250 km/h while everyone else was going 310+. Sara* finally jumps and more of the same - at the countdown to start the race, you see the other cars going ahead already as if the races started - AGAIN. I lose by 1000+ m. I don't continue and test ghost battles. Tried hakone ghost battle and it ran fine. Re-challenged OG as holden and Sara didn't continue, and a 2 way battle on hakone was fine. After that test, another 4 way battle goes, this time on Osaka (newbie w/ 400hp was on 4th machine and was dragged into battle when Sara* joined). Lag takes effect and I fall behind 500+m. Dunno if it was the boost or OG holding back, but I managed to close it down to 10m but OG wins. newbie leaves machine 4 and DRGN jumps in for a 4 way battle. he picks osaka, so does Sara. OG picked new line, so I pick new line for a 50/50 chance. New line gets picked. Loading screen, everyone's cars slide in half a second earlier than what happens on my screen. 3-2-1 countdown screen starts and everyone already starts pulling away. I try and run a normal run, while holden compares the times. midway during the race, the timer on my machine shows it being 10 seconds behind the timer on everyone else's machine. By the time the race ends, 25 second difference between their machine timer and my timer. At this point, I think of contacting techs, but it was already 15 mins to closing. Wanted to have another run on a WORKING machine after Sara* got off, but PD disabled the credit readers 5 minutes before closing. So holden, OG and I leave, and I somehow end up with DRGN's cell number, as he just came from getty.

Long story short...
1) - machine 2 not working even more so. no force feedback, brakes not working, and a 25 second machine lag when battling.
2) - having a wangan night interrupted by having to drop off people when they come up with random plans on the day of, after I've been planning this for the whole week (where's the consideration?)
3) - things not going smoothly
4) - bad PD customer service for techs and credit reader controllers

So to vent... well... a few runs on old burnhamhorpe road/6th line area was a little stress releiving. (there's something calming about running 170 on a misty, moonlit, 2 lane bumpy country road - all while listening to wangan music)

MaxX: lol - i'll try and race your ghosts to study some lines for C1 and Yoko... if I can keep up XD

Saturday is a definite no go, as I won't be there either. That last wangan run really left a bitter aftertaste of defective machines.

um u know why i am on 2nd gear when playing with the kid? cuz i want to buy more time so i can give you the machine when u guys are here hahaha

They all went to Drift Mania. I coulda went.....but didn't. >.>

There were so many fishies at p-mall today. All playing story mode and stuff. I was a fish too....then I took a walk around p-mall. Came back and won like 5 in a row . 80% of my battles were Osaka too =.=" I had to blackmail my friend to play NBL. Then when I managed to get Hakone, we had to race in 600hp. Phail.

Moral of the story. When you suck, take a walk.

Anyway, I guess I'm not so bad with the left-handed shifters as I thought. I went to Gety at about 11 to see SFIV (I wasn't impressed) and had a game.

I got challenged three times, won all three. Then some guy with the card name .AKO. challenges me, immediately tries to pick Osaka, so I pick Yoko and we race Yoko. He's losing by like 300m halfway through and tosses his friend a dollar and tells him to sit down to bail him out. So they're obviously going to pick Osaka by majority, which they do. Somebody else challenges after that so it's a 4-way on Osaka.

I win.

Bennz, Inso, and Kervy race with me a few times, I won 3/6. Made a nice 19 stars within about an hour or so.

lawl that was me too haha, i want a rematch though, i've gotten 10x better, and can scream louder than before too

Ahhhhhhh home sweet home. I am back. Someone lemme know whats gonna happen this week or next week. XD

wil y do u have to leave early =.=...sky showed up a little bit later and then he took xeo's hakone ghost with 2 tries @[email protected] then we took all the ghosts together...the scary thing is...sky only needs 1-2 tries for the C1, osaka and wangan ghosts...==...and then i took the new belt and yoko ghost...

Yay [ no offence XEO, it was there for too long ] XEO's ghost is gone ! XD
