btw, abyss can go eat muffin bottoms. he lost to kervy 7 times in a row. got his friend to play for him, lost another 4 times & then he called bennz to tell me to drag kervy to get off the machine LOL

At pmall two weeks ago I swear this guy (who lost both races anyway) picked Osaka first, then Yoko 2nd.

I pick 760 and 820

He picks 720 and 780

Third race, I sit and wait, and he doesn't choose his hp, and at the last possible second, he flips the wheel to go 20 lower than me.

What's with these people? Are they THAT bad? Why can't everyone just match HP settings.

I won the races anyway but jesus, it's freaking annoying. I made fun of him and I think he noticed, but I doubt that'd stop him from doing it more...

Can people like just pick the same HP settings in boost ON matches!? It's freaking BOOST ON for chrissakes, why do you need a handling advantage with boost!?!?

Some guy tried telling me "780 is the best for Yoko" I told him straight up "because you're a F**King scrub and it's boost on, race boost off and tell me 780 is the best for Yoko".

Then Abyss told me that 800 was the best, I felt like saying the same thing to him, but I refrained.

Battling isn't fun when people start abusing game mechanics like this, it's ridiculous.

sway: a scrub, to me, is someone who thinks or acts like they know stuff when they're really new/really really bad.

AC101: different HP settings are fine in battle, I have no qualms with that. We do 820HP EVERYTHING when we battle at pmall (the regulars, me, bennz, d***b, etc.) but at least we're on the same HP settings so it's fair.

I mean, if we do 820 HP hakone, select, and then somebody goes to like 740/760, that's when it starts getting stupid.

in canada we tend to try to go with the same hp we use for TA...
but in hk go like 740-760 on yoko.... i had the same prob u wen i was in hk i went 820 and everyone else went 740, i didnt mind,but next round all i did was go lower then them they went 740 i went 700

MaxX...just use whatever hp you're comfortable with, and just ignore the other guy.

i personally like grip in battle, so I use a bit more grip than other people nowadays.

It's just with lower HP:

1) when u ram the other car with a higher HP, u lose speed slower than the other car
2) u get better handling and thus you can get away easier in terms in "unforeseeable events" by choosing a different line only a lower HP could do without off gas or brake etc

And if u are a good blocker, 740HP blocking three 800-820 in yoko all the way is not hard.

Only when it's boost on.

It's exploiting game mechanics for your benefit.

Don't be a pussy and look for cheap advantages. I don't care what HP people want to play at, we could do 600 or 820, I really don't care, I just want everyone to play with the same settings to make it fair.

well you can always look over your shoulder to set the same hp as your opponent

I did that, and he waited until the very last split second to go lower.

I said that already, but it was on page one. He went 40hp lower than me on Osaka and Yoko, but still lost because he sucked so much that not even abusing game mechanics could help him.

Then the third race, I waited and he changed at the last possible moment to still end up 20 below me.

theres people there always doing that,.. so u should get use to it

well since its not a bug, its not that u can't do the same...advantage is an advantage, from HP, boost, rims, cars etc

and if you don't want to exploit the game mechanics but still want to play some nice boost on matches:

u can counter by just stepping on the before they see your HP or just wait at the last second as well...(or u can just let them choose "day" or "night" first so then they get to the screen faster than u and just F**King stare at them LOL)
