On the cheaper 40gig one you lose ps1 and ps2 compatibility, but I have 2 ps2's. No reason I can't just push a button and switch the input over to the ps2. MAYBE, just MAYBE I will pick up one of these sometime... It's about time I get WM for PS3 and Dynasty Warrior Gundam. |

You wait and wait, and as I said when the system first came out, they created a low-end model. EXACTLY what I was waiting for to come out. I have a PS2 already so no need for backward compatibility. This makes me happy, because the only reason I want to get a PS3 is for MGS4 and WM.

no backwards compatibility
 Thats bad. I can't trade in my ps2 to get the PS3 now. That really really sucks |

You get $40 for a fat PS2, $45 for a slim. the 60gb is 449.99. So, you can either get it for 409, or 404. A $5-10 difference to the 360's $399 is nothing. |
