Actually, the process took about a week, and I do it per level rather than per circuit, starting with levels 10 and 9 in all circuits on the first day, then working my way down over the week. So on the last day, I do level 1 all circuits, then bam - B7-A7 (actually, it was B6-A7, because just before doing that last set of Outruns, I played a few VS matches and eventually hit 20 stars, thus upping 1 rank).
