my mr2 is currently my oldst card, made it on mt2, then a few weeks after mt3 came out so i trfd. then didnt play anymore till like.... around this time last year?

@ toodamnmaximum, so? It just shows how cheap and impatient you are. So what if you spent $10 for a renamable? That's nothing compared to money, time and patience the guy that did the dupe in the first place.

Tuning your own car is much more fun as you learn and grow with the car. And who are you to judge when you resort to dupes for your own car. It's almost like borrowing your bro's wife for a weekend as compared to someone else who's gone out and courted a girl before marrying her. One's with respect and dignity, the other pathetic and rubbish. And in tuning through story, you learn whilst dupes don't do that. You rely on the car more than your own skill.

So what if we bags money into our cars? It's our property and one that'll keep growing regardless of anything.

I do have a car that I made from scratch, from MT2 to be exact. But I lost it, 3 days after I FT it on MT3

agree with mr. paladin, sometimes we want to taste other car or sometimes we are bored with the car we're using, so why not make another car? Making another car from scratch needs more money than buying renames, so renames are the solution IMO

but i have to concede that...i guess i would use a renamable if my card got lost. I admit it wouldnt feel the same.

At the end of the day its just your personal preference, no one really has the right to tell you what you should/shouldn't do. Its your money afterall, whether you choose to spend it on renamables or full tune your own, its your own choice.

Honestly, after fully tuning so many cars, it just becomes more of a chore to me.
