u tell them happy

a majority of my cards (15-20) are tuned by myself, but i only have 2 renames, which i rarely use anyways. but i gotta admit, its much better to have renames. i mean sure, you might value the cars you tuned yourself more than a rename you bought. but still, it gets to the point where youre just tired of story mode, and just want a rename.

Meh, out of the 5 cards I use...

4 are tuned by myself, only E9 is an 820 rename, C1 class at the start, My Z34, own tune, obviously, JZA80, tuned by myself, R34, again, by myself, and R32, own tune from MT2 days.

So yeah.

I don't necessarily say don't get a rename, i just say don't use one that is so obviously hacked, like the SSS yet only 4k mileage E9.

I mean, the point of a rename to me, is just to skip the hassle of playing the story mode...like to get a headstart. I mean, seriously, after you play it for 100 times repeatedly, you are potentially never coming back to play those stages again.

about rename or not,I think you can buy rename that match your car spec.eg like me,I lost my FC S8 class with 1k stars.. so I buy a new car with the same spec and the same class,not get the hacked one eventhough the price are same...

I got it back like last October I think hehe. Oh really? Oh, that's too bad then. Eh, I stopped playing regularly at the start of this year. I just got back due to DX

as the topic goes, I have a rename 8191 stars RX-8 myself. and, this is my own opinion tho. when i first use this car in my hometown arcade, everyone goes "oooahh.. look at that bear! geez... the stars is.. blablabla" you name it. but then, you know for yourself that those reputation are not earned by yourself. yea it is a video game. the point of a video game, is we get to play it, no? what's the satisfaction of reaching the top if you're not climbing it one step after another? well, that just don't work on me.

that's why, after getting the RX-8 renames, i made a new RX-8 myself from ground. cost me way much more. but it's something i can use, and be proud of. although i'm still suck at this game, but hey.. it's mine. it's something i built with my own hand. so, no matter how low the rank and the stars is, it's legitimately, mine

to me, that's satisfaction.

that looks so awesome. i rarely see chaser, ive only seen one guy driving it in maximum tune and it was someone without a card. then for whatever reason he challenged me ... LOL

Having an SSS class isnt the "same result" as earning an SSS class.

If you just want to have one and dont care about getting it yourself, by all means buy an S.P.W

There's so many different aspects to this game which people seem to constantly fail to understand. you can focus on getting a certain rank if you want which takes time, effort, commitment and money. Obviously, to the few who aim for the highest rank out of their own time and effort it's a long expensive road but im sure they are all well aware of that before doing it.

You can play just to enjoy racing people and not care about a rank, in which case, by all means by a rename and use it. you're not after the same thing in this game as other people, so why should you spend the same amount of time/money as them?

Then there's also TA, again its different to both of the above.

My point, the game will offer many different "results" and people will view these differently, some people think TA is pointless, where others think aiming for a certain rank is pointless. Who are we to tell people how they can spend their money and time, to tell people something they find enjoying, is pointless or a waste?
