Right now I'm at B1 and heres what I got calculated so far.

B1 --> (8 Outruns) --> A2
A2 --> (Hitting 1k Stars) --> A1
A1 --> (Two overhauls) --> S8

Basically I've saved my outruns, still trying to get to 1k stars, and working on storymode.

I am planning on a SSS project with my MT2 transfered unshaded Evo 8. I will be starting tomorrow from scratch and plan on working on my ghosts first, at least 50-80 per day.

Short Term Target (2 months):

480 Stories/ 6 Loops C1 ----> B5
1000 Ghost Wins B5 ----> A6
8 Outruns A6 ----> S7
2000 Stars S7 ----> S1

Long Term Target (9 months):

880 Stories/ 11 Loops S1 ----> SS8
2000 Ghost Wins SS8 ----> SS6
7000 Stars SS6 ----> SS3

Final Target (1 Year):

1680 Stories/ 21 Loops SS3 ----> SS1
10000 Stars SS1 ----> SSS


Total estimated cost: $3500 ($1000 Story, $1000 Ghost, $1500 Stars)

Hey hey, at least its MUCH better than doing drugs or underground racing.

3k on WMMT3 could pretty much:

- Pay back everyone I owe which is about 1.2k
- Pay for my Tmobile bill for 4 -5 months
- Finally buy my Sony Ericsson K850
- Pay for food
- Months worth of gas
- $200 to complete my WMMT projects

and probably still have 1.7k left over.

Isn't your long term target and final target is too short?
I mean, people will start avoiding battling with you when you've reach 2,000 stars...

Not really. People in SoCal are rather relaxed when it comes to picking who to battle...we have 4 machines here in almost every arcade and most arcades are packed on weedends and fairly popular on weekdays...thats how there are ppl like ed, wilson and such with thousands of stars.....ed has over 10k stars on his two cards combined (s30 and r33, although he lost the s30)

I believe 1k stars per month is rather realistic considering DEVIL got like 5k stars in a single month

Oh, so you're from SoCal too. Then it shouldn't be a problem then.
About the stars collecting facts, it's not surprising too. The arcade I frequented also has 4 machines and it's exceptionally packed on weekdays night and the whole day of weekends. One of my friend told me that gaining 300 stars per week is not a problem at all...

Err...sometimes your local arcade give bonus right? like 100% bonus...if you buy 40 coins...you got 80 coins..? so that's good opportunity to raise your rank...

LOL I wish....but for $20 we get 100 tokens (Normally it should be 1 dollar for 4 tokens)

yeah i know same. I have more fun racing on the street than racing in a game!

yea i should visit HK or TW for 6 weeks play mt 24/7 to get nice extra 20k stars on my r33 and alot cheaper to rank up to SSS. and maybe dress tune lvl 9000+ should be good enought. but i'll pass on TA's XD XD

I just don't get how anyone can cope doing story mode...like 8 times. ~.~ Its almost like doing outruns, just more boring.

Actually, I find story much more exciting than outrun or ghost vs (excluding crown races).

Outruns, they're just plain boring.

Ghost vs, there's no boost for the cpu, so you're just flying and win by 600m+ a race.

Story, you get interaction, you get dialogue, you get multiple boost on cpu competitors per race that're always on your tail, that sometimes even run you into traffic, it's fun.

When I get tried of ghost vs. I do story, I'm on loop 5 currently.
