hey all im Ben. I of course, live in brisbane. I play at the Indooroopilly Funhouse most of the time with my Mitsubishi GTO and my newly made Evo9.

Hopefully I am able to get Evo8 soon as well as an r32 and r34. Then I got my full collection that I wanted. After that I will go and make other cars that fit my fancy, but only when I have fully done up these 5.

I am relatively new to this game. I think like only 3 to 4 weeks. But I have taken it up well and hoping to improve on it much more. I hope there are many people who go to the same place as I do.

O and I am trading a 600hp car - GTO for any evo8, r32 or r34 car.

I am mainly at the funhouse when I got time, mainly all-day tuesday, til 3pm (kids come around), wednesday arvos til 3pm, thursday nites and all-day saturday. Of course, the occasional sunday. All these times varies, cos of uni commitments and relationship commitments as well. But yer, come see me play and challenge me, if you dare.

lol yer. I have been considering that alot. I am also thinking of making the R2. Cos that seems really good. I saw only I person using it at my place. It was soooo funny, cos the acceleration is sooo good. But yes, hiace is a must have for special cars.

Does anyone here play in Melb - Most notably Watergardens, HP or Bluehouse on russel street in the CBD?

Is there any other areas that have 4 machines linked up besides box hill and is majorly popular...??

Will be at Replay on Wednesday if you wanna come vs.

Also, if anyone knows, have they fixed the ID4 card reader problem they had at Replay? The one where it wouldn't eject cards? My card is coming to a renew and I don't wanna lose my data if the card reader wants to eat my card.

Mostly its because it's hard to try and find many good players in our area (Not that I'm any good lol), and we live within 5 minutes of the Helensvale train station.

I think we're going to hit up Pacific Fair and Surfers Paradise soon.

its a problem with every machine in the world excluding japan because there machines are different
when renewing or buying a card there is a 99% chance the error will occur
make sure you renew at replay in the city, they know howto fix it and probably the only place in queensland that can restore your data if it gets eaten

o awesome. Helensvale aye. LOL I went to Pacific Fair and played a few times. A few good drivers, but not many. And yer, the city is a good place to play for some real challenges.

I still need to trade 1 600hp car GTO (Brand New) for an evo8, r32 or r34. But I heard u and sieg are rx-7 fans. I actually want to try that out too.

any advice on it. I heard it has really good handling. what are the pros and cons for it?

if you want a evo8 discard, i have about 50 sitting in my room .. and i think i have a r34 somewhere in there also

RX-7 pros and cons?

Lesse.

Pro: Pretty good Accel, very nice handling

Cons: You get beaten around like a sack of potatos. FD is veeeery light. Also, it loses alot of speed going into corners, so you have to take them as fast as possible.

Opinion: It's a fun car lol. Disadvantages can be overcome with skill pretty much.

I have a discard around somewhere if you are ever at Replay when I am.

RX-7 seems pretty awesome. But y do people want to RX-8 more? I see alot of people with RX-8s and they are damn good at it. Do you know the pros and cons of the RX-8, in comparison to the RX-7?

Mazda RX-8 [SE3P]

Pros : Good cornering ability. It doesn't lose speed too much at the corners, and it doesn't slide as much as the FD. Slim body makes it easy to slip through traffic or overtaking opponents from the inside line. Top speed is equivalent to R34.

Cons : Easy to be pushed by heavier cars, dull acceleration (yeah, the accel is just so slow).

Opinion : With good setups and driver skills, it could be a killer car.

I just checked today. U only rule C1, hakone and 1 other place. I tink it is osaka. LOL and evo8 has taken ova the other 3.

o kool. So it is better than the Rx-7. Thanks. I tink i will go with the rx-8 then. Cos I know alot of rx-8s that really kick ass. Especially this dude at my arcade, which rocks with it and nobody can beat him on osaka or hakone with it.

His turns are perfect everytime and even if he does do 1 hiccup he manages to be in the lead enough to still stay in the lead and increase it even more. In the end, he beat the 2nd person by 500m. O yer and especially at the end where you go to go around the u-turn, he managed to see the people come around when he is goin to the finish line. Damn Awesome!

not always.. in my opinion, any car kicks ass it all depends on the driver.. most cars function the same besides handling, acceleration and top speed.. depends what sorta player you are.. as a starter, you should concentrate on one car... theres no point changing cars everytime.. cause youll lose the touch of other cars.. but once your confident to change cars, then go for it.. like me - i only own an e8 and nothing more.. i like using most cars in the game but i like e8 better cause its been with me since the start.. not the fact that its top tier..

and rx8 isnt better then rx7 - in my opinion, rx7 is better then rx8.. rx7 handles much better then rx8 and rams better.. but as i said - it all depends on the driver

I remembered about me having all cars in MT2, just to try out which car is the best....and turns out that I have more cars than I expected....

Im a quick learner in games, so it takes lik half to 3/4s of the time to be an expert than normal. I can drive pretty well now. I have read quite abit about drifting and i tried out the techniques and stuff today and it seem to b pretty easy. I just need a fully done up car now. So yer...

O i got an r32 today and I am totally in love with it. Its like an evo 9/8 but abit bigger. Next I want is the gdb-c and the rx-7/8. Still havnt decided on the rx's yet. Its sooo hard, but what I am looking for is a top acceleration and great handling car.

Tiramisu, that's sort of right. But I do feel that the RX7 (FD) and RX8 are about the same. Both are interchangeable in some areas.
