Hi Old_Skul_SR,

Haven't seen you for a while at Festival Mall.... no wonder... your busy with your scale modelling... kaya pala one time na naglaro ka nakita ko may bitbit ka na kahon of a scale model. smile.gif

Thanks Bro... Astig ka... kagaya ng Subaru Alcyone mo... tama ba ako ;-)

Woops! My countryman forgot that this is an int'l section of the thread smile.gif

Here's the translation.

Hi Old_Skul_SR,

Haven't seen you for a while at festival mall... no wonder...your busy with your scale modeling... so that's why I saw you one time when you were playing, you were carrying a box load of scale models. smile.gif

You're works are great bro...how much is a scale model? I want to try scale modeling. I collected TAMIYA mini4WD Collection before, but now, since I'm playing Wangan, I want to have a scale model car inside my Lancer to excite me on.

Thnaks bro...you're cool... like your Subaru Alcyone...am I correct? ;-)

kapeman@
Yo bro! he's one cool dude. You're lucky you've met him already. i only know him from the scale plastic modeling boards and here at wangan.

Pretty Cool Old_School...

Wow I'm amazed... I want to have a Skyline and Evo model car displayed on my dashboard. Yeah I know the store, I bought my Tamiya Mini4WD there also but sometimes I travel to Lil's Hobby at Makati... I guess I will have a new venture.

I'm amaze how you fabricate the body... what materials do you use? I need some fabrication on my real car also... like damaged vents and son on and so forth.

Your work just amazes me Bro... am not artistic though. So I guess I will just buy a model and assembled it.

Paste your finished work here Bro. Have seen you at Festi talking to Onins.

Astounding Works Old_Skul...

I want to approach you but you know... I'm a loner while playing at Festi... silent-type person Bro. shifty2.gif

BTW... what's a good brand of primer/paint (Pylox etc.) Is it customary to sand the plastic first then put in primer before actually painting the model car? I'm a newbie, that's why I don't know how to use those professional painting kits. rolleyes.gif

What do you use to attach the intelligent prepaid card kits? Mighty Bond or just and ordinary glue?

Thanks for the info in advance Bro. God Bless. Your ingenuity and works are amazing.

@kapeman, approach me, im a nice person. tomorrow ill be there again. and ill be able to teach you more. BTW, whats your card name?

but for your questions, yes, it is ideal to sand the body first so that the paint will adhere firmly, and sanding between paints. ii use krylon or RJ paint grey primer.

the cards and body kit? i just use mighty bond then smoothen with putty and sanding. biggrin.gif

Wow... your works really amazes me. I like that effect on the drift car.... "battle tested" look huh. That's nice.

Putty? What brand of putty should I use for fabricating parts myself? Does it cost much? ermm2.gif

actually i use two part epoxy, some call cards and patience for the rought body shape. then sand it down and then use tamiya putty to finish it off. it only costs around 130Php

u can see the putty in the evo 5 pics. biggrin.gif(its all the pinkish stuff)

we gotta talk if you want to learn more. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
