QUOTE (srenity) | I don't know if any of you guys do this, but i hum along with the music while i play |
I have to quote this. But I do this quite often when I like one song, albeit silently.
*on-topic* Since I've just started MT3 for only... one day:
The one guy I kept battling played "Love to Rise in the Summer Morning". it F**Ked me up a few times since I wasn't use to it. Now that I do listen to it often, I won't be as bad.
However, since I'm from WMMT2 era, here are the songs I love:
- Destination blackout. (I only play this when I'm trying to be serious as I can. I sometimes win, sometimes don't)
- Drivers Delight. (I always loved this.)
- Fun Loving Spirit (A nice warmup song, and for TA)
- Nothing Can Live Forever (Not too bad on the 59KM tracks)
Acid Runner is another favourite which I'm glad is on WMMT3 since I can pick both MT1 and 2 soundtracks.
I have yet to listen to R so I don't have a fav for that one.
In regards to the poll, I am more aggressive when I drive listening to my songs. It's bad enough in real life when I'm driving I tend to go faster and pretend I'm in WMMT =p.
*edit* Love to rise in the summer morning + forza 2 = utter wreckage XD

Demon - You mean Reina's theme me thinks. But yes, that one is very popular over at James Games too. Actually I find it so amazing how much music makes a difference while playing. It affects a lot of people's playing style, I do admire the people a bit more who can drive all the courses without any music at all. Its harder than you think XD. Funny story though, I burned a friend of mine who also plays MT3 a bunch of Initial D songs on CDs so he can listen to them in his car. He starts listening to them on his way home from work while he is driving on the freeway. I get a call one day of him joking with me that I almost got him a speeding ticket XD. Thing is he got so into the music with his driving that he didn't notice he was going over 80 then over 90. And a cop noticed him, pulled him over, and asked him if he was aware of his speed. He told him the truth and the cop let him go. I told him I should have warned him a bit about that, how the music kinda sucks you in lol and wow he got lucky he got a really nice cop. I guess I didn't think it'd effect him that much XD. Because it has that effect on me, I'm very mindful of my speedometer whenever I put those tunes on in my car since I first experienced that sort of effect. So I've never been pulled over ^^; fortunant me. That includes any tunes from Initial D, and my favorites from various Wangan Midnight games. Or whatever happens to catch my fancy for my mood that I have on those disks XD. I love playing those tunes while I drive. Its interesting what happens at times though, it even effects OTHER drivers that hear it somtimes. You see when I'm by myself when I'm driving I like to roll down my windows and blast my tunes. This gives my airconditioner a rest too mind you too, easier a bit on the engine. At least that is what I was told. Anyway, sometimes I get these tuned up cars or some random car that also has their windows down and I pull up next to them or I drive by them with "Feel the Moment" playing when the lyrics "Till I pass you...." go by then all of a sudden they rev up and speed by me. I laugh every time, its happened a couple of times. So I guess I present this question then to you guys. Have you ever had the Maximum Tune music effect other drivers while on the road besides yourselves?
