Yeah, I know, it's french subbed but I thought some people might be interested.

Damn it why does every racing anime have to do this. It starts off mechanical and realistic and the next thing you know some "wise" old guy comes in and tries to talk about "ki" and "racing spirit" and all this psuedo-philosophical japanese crap.

They are cars, an explosion turns a gear that turns a shaft that turns a wheel, this isnt F**King dragonball z, the car isnt alive. [/rant]

I dont understood the ep.. i will have to watch it again with superjakko subs.. but those didnt made much sense:

So all the work from the Takagi mastering the body.. and then the HP fold the body in a 15m race? WTF!! A OEM Supra body would had lasted longer with 800hp.. i dont get it.. maybe subs are wrong but.. it makes no sense at all.. and then he cryes ..he stops.. and they detune the car to 400hp to him.. ok..but wasnt the body bent?

Takagi made the rear end of the Supra softer on purpose. It is to cope with all the power going to the rear wheels. Prior to the delivery of the car, you can see Akio looking at the rear end of the Supra, worrying how the softened body would react in a race. The rear end didn't hold up when Kei drove it to the limit, drifting and everything. In the end, they fixed the Supra, and encouraged Kei to keep driving the car.

Im not a car tunner..neither an expert..but i know enought to understood that if you increase power you must reinforce and stiffen the body.. making it softer doesnt make any sense .. there were lots of cars wich suffered because precisely a soft chasis and couldnt diggest the power... maybe they did it on porpouse to teach him a lesson..but if thats the case its not enought clear exposed... Also the Z has ..for now not as much power and as far as i know Takagi didnt made the Z softer to help it handle more power.. or the Blackbird.. wich has gone from about 400 to 800hp since it got into the hands of Kitami and i understood that Takagi reinfornced and setted up its chassis to handle 800hp better.. apart from the aerodinamic upgrades to make a Porsche handle at those speeds (renember when blackbird complained about the steering getting vague over 250km/h.. well that is a common Porsche issue due to being rear engined and Porsche fixed it fitting 4 wheel drive , many many many tweaks along the years and with aerodinamics)

Still i will wait for Superjakko one.. this version subtitles differed much from others and one can see it clearly

The subs may not have helped, but there are a couple of possible reasons. The one that sticks in my mind is that they may have done it to avoid wheel hop and/or snapping the rear axles, which can happen with that much power.

Anyone else noticed the funny translation touches like "We defintely could not retain 800MPH. But we tuned it dow to 400MPH wich should be sustainable" ?

Weee.. im doing 800MPH.. i think im overtaking an Eurofighter supercruising

sub typo should be "We defintely could not retain 800BHP. But we tuned it down to 400BHP which should be sustainable"

Erm...so can anyone tell me where to really download the episodes for WMMT? MY internet could not be loaded when i tried to get in....Btw, can install in PSP right?
