Porsche 911 GT3 RS
But more realistically for my price range, I'd love to pick up a 944 next year and drop in a 968 engine and transmission.

944s can be had for about half the cost of a 968 and are lighter. Problem will be finding the parts cheap to make it worth it, but given time I think I might be able to pull it off. If I had a 968 I'd keep it N/A, ~200hp would be fine for me. Maybe a 944 turbo would be a good option, but harder to find. And no evil LS1 mods

QUOTE (HateSkylines @ Yesterday at 12:02 PM) | Woo! Turbo Doge FTW! My dad owns a '87 GLHS too. His is #658 of 1000.
Are you on the Turbo Dodge forums?
IamThe280Z - Your thiunking of the Chrysler Conquest, also the Starion as you said. |
Yeah I am on the TurboDodge, Turbo-Mopar, and BoostedMopar sites. Same name there too. Mostly I'm on the BoostedMopar site (see my sig ) and just go to the others to buy/sell stuff. One of my best friends owns BM. My GLHS is #392. I also currently have an '84 Shelby Charger that's in the middle of a 2.0 DOHC swap, an '85 Turbo Z, an '87 Shelby Z, an '83 Rampage 2.2, and an '89 Lebaron that's getting a V6 and a newer cockpit interior. And that's just my turbo Dodges I think I have somewhere around 16-18 cars and trucks right now, mostly Dodges, except for the 240Z, the RX-7 Turbo II, and my '92 Tercel daily. IamThe280Z, if I were an uptight TD guy I would verbally beat you for comparing the Charger to a Conquest Although Conquests are sweet too, I had a couple but never got to drive them much due to either engine or title problems. I wonder how many people here know/can guess what GLHS stands for? This post has been edited by Force Fed Mopar on Jul 12 2008, 04:02 AM

A F**Kin' race car.
'Nuff said.
Prefer FC's to FD's though, unlike most people. |
This man speaks the truth.
I used to have an FC, but i was kidding myself when i told myself I dreamed of FCs more than FDs. After driving a few FDs, the FD is the official car of my realistic dreams.
FCs do have quite a few "advantages" over FDs though, depending on car setup choice.

Let me know if you need any parts. I could probably get you some upgrades at my discounted rates.

QUOTE (Force Fed Mopar @ Yesterday at 10:15 PM) | Cool, sounds like it should haul butt. I was just wondering if it was a Spirit R/t, they are sweet 150mph 4-dr grandma car |
Actually, funny you should say, I talked to my dad and it was a Red Spirit R/T! LOL, he may have a pic or two of the cars together. If he can find them, I'll get them up here to you.
To the 7 fans - I couldn't tell you if I liked the FC or FD. I've driven both the Sa22 and the FC3S and liked the FC more out of the two. I dont know if I could tell you if I liked the FD more, never had the great oppertunity to drive one.
I would be a FC owner, that was my first car of choice when I was growing up, but my parents didnt know the first thing when it came to rotary engines so I was told I couldnt get one. They werent going to trust my with my knowledge of the wankel engines, even though I learned how they worked before a conventional (piston) internal combustion engine.
Yoshida Seiji + BMWNeoType - I envy you guys, I would put my soul into a RX-7. But Im limited due to my parents, although it might have been a good idea (for my own good). I plan to get rid of the MR2 if I had ever had the change to afford an RX7.
