no exactly, u see the c-c NBL exit to C1, you need wall tap...= =
c1 inward ot outward.....= =..soz...out in complete diff
c1 in wall tap = 100% 230+ out...
well i watched some jap vids and they all use wall tap...so i think its good for me since i can do wall tap, but not gas techniques ..= =

and back to Hakone, well, i go for the lines set by the highest record holders so yeah..= =

I think you miss my point rofl.. you never NEED walltap.. it is faster for sure on that NBL CCW corner you are talking about but it is 100% not NEEDED.

BTW for c1 in I have witnessed 50'8 with no walltap irl.

How about inside tap? Have you thought about that? LOL.. I have done 232 in the middle of that c1 inbound turn by accidently tapping the INSIDE. xD Very hard to pull off everytime however.

Basically my point is.. if you can't do the braking/gas off or whatever properly then walltap isn't really going to help you overall too much at all.

lol yeah, the one time in 15 tries you get it right, its faster than brake.

only people who should walltap are the ones who have already mastered breaking

and braking can get perfectly fast speeds as well, as good as walltaps...
lol
you dont even know what you're talking about

there you go ;D

friendly advice:

try braking for a bit before you do walltaps.

Just my 2 cents. ;D

if its working for you your times must be pretty decent then, care for some examples?
i said it isn't required to get a fast time, i did not say it was slower... you dont NEED to do it =.=

I've been getting better at hakone steadily. No ta record breaker but i'm getting there. Walltap is really hard to judge for me, because I'm always used to avoiding hitting walls.

there are sufficient corners in hakone to ask this:

Which ones do you gas off which ones do you not

and what gears are you clearing them in...

just gassing off without hitting corners doesnt mean anything if you're down in 2nd gear and not pushing yourself hard.

some corners require no gas off, some require it, some require brakes, etc...

but theres only like 4 - 6 turns that requires brake right ?

when gas off , you release your foot totally or release and step repeated action ?

Quick step off, and slow application upon return. Wall glitch is unnecessary, its not as effective as it was in MT2. <_<

'39 can't be done using your...'tips'.

Hoping you can prove us wrong instead of just say 'you have to bounce off walls on red turns in hakone' and it can get you '39.
