I still have in my collection:
1) Manta Ray Jr
2) Big Bang Ghost
3) Astro Boomerang
4) Emperor
5) Poseidon X
6) Nissan King Cab Junior
7) Toyota Hilux Surf

The last two are monster trucks, never really saw anyone racing those, but they were cool because they could make it through water puddles while normal 4WDs either get stalled or end up floating aimlessly in the water smile.gif Used to have a Liberty Emperor and Manta Ray too, but I forgot what happened to those two, and all my cars are unmodded; we just had fun letting the, zip around the tracks.

its the same. since gear ratios and the shafts are pretty much standard. 3.5:1 in FR and RR are the same. but if you're talking about weight ratio, then there's definitely a difference.

LOL, I was too young then to even know of the possible technical differences between rear and front motor, other that it looks cool, and the exposed motor probably benefits from better cooling. Still, I'd probably buy a Brocken / Gigant or whatever it is called if can find any for sale now smile.gif

I think front and read engined cars should weight about the same; same number of parts and materials after all, only distribution is varied.

hahaha mini 4wd...oh man

i have an official tamiya two lane track with loop...in mint condition...then my mom threw it out because it took up so much space LOL

I started off with a Sonic Saber...then had two Neo Tri-dagger ZMC's...both which wing's broke off...

Then when mini 4wd's became a hit in the 2000's I got some of the new ones like blitzer sonic, desert golem, and my favourite being the shadow breaker hahaha

i used to use plasma dash...but then i went for the chinese 60k rpm motors...those that had two huge holes drilled in the motor for heat dissipation...

fun times, crashed and destroyed many mini4wds back in the day.

I remebered back in the day I went to toys r us to play hahaha

lol that brings me back the memories from elementary sch....
Back in elementary sch, kids were all addicted to that cartoon....lol
Also, the amount of money wasted in motors, parts, accessories, chassis, etc....
I still remember that we cut the chassis to make the car weight less....lol

kinda ironic for me, really... i was a student back then when mini 4wds were popular, so i had little money to upgrade my cars....

now i am working and earning enough to modify them, but now it ain't popular no more....heheheh sucks....
