QUOTE (Whitzwolf @ 8 hours, 36 minutes ago) | Tuskano you said you worked in the Navy, which ship do you serve on? And what is your assigned role?
If I ever go Navy I want to be in a Submarine, suits my nature + best paid job (For Australia anyway as practically no one wants to serve as a submariner or in a shitty Collins class... lucky they're getting Japanese engine technology) |
Yep, currently in the Navy. Though I live in the aviation side of the Navy. Instead of ships I serve in squadrons. Currently I am working stateside over at a SH60-R helo training command in sunny (for the most part) San Diego Ca. My rate is AD, otherwise known as a "mech". So I am the guy working on the helo's engines, main/tail rotor heads, the transmission system, and also the fuel system. Plus all the little parts that connect to other rate's systems. Since it is a training command stateside, I don't go far. But my previous squadron usually had detachments TAD to the smaller ships. So for that I have served upon a frigate and a cruiser. No ship jobs for me, just working on the helos we had which would have been only two on board. I knew a guy who became a nuke and went to go serve on a sub... not my taste. But yes, it is indeed a well paid job. I like to feal the wind however lol. J, you always look crazy in that black coat. You look like your always ready to go into the Matrix >.<

QUOTE (mprasetya @ 1 hour, 22 minutes ago) | Nice Gunblade mang |
Hehe, thanks. [ Post merged on Apr 4 2013, 06:49 AM ] QUOTE (Riisssaaa @ 31 minutes, 13 seconds ago) | OHHHH~ Smart way of construction! Nice gunblade. Seeing its all wood and not balsa.. Is it heavy?
I did more sewing less prop making ><" Anyone guess what this is? (Hint: Pink hair)
|
A bit heavy, around 1 or 2 kg, give or take. Helps me simulate the heaviness of a gunblade. Though I still do not know how to give it a shiny, blade-like finish... Well I can see you holding a lollipop

Ahh~ that's quite a shame.. If it was in Australia, being solid wood, at cons it would have to be cloaked the entire time unless taken onto stage. BUT STILL.. awesome Gunblade.
