id have to say purple. the color of the car DOES affect the performance if no one knew. im sure you guys did though. the lighter the color.. the lighter the car. i changed my evo IX from the dark silver to yellow and i have to say.. it slides more
 i have gold for my 34 with the work sticker on and although it slides more, the work sticker adds HELLA weight to it. hehehe |

Another reason I'd say pink over purple: purple just don't do it for me - has to be dark enough, not some violet (light purple) bubblegum PoS color! Same goes for pink - has to be real prominent lest it be mistaken for some other color. Like the GDB-F's "Pale Blue 2" - it looks White, which isn't helped any when you're semi color-blind!

and next you wanna tell me that dress up parts dont affect the performance of the cars either?? right?? cuz it says here in the namco site "* Dress-up parts do not affect the performance of your car." dress up parts --found at the bottom under the subarus so if you agree that dress up parts DO NOT affect the car performance like the namco site says then i'll agree with everyone else and say nor does the color of the car. "Changing the body color also changes the atmosphere of the car, giving you extra motivation to drive!!" as whack as it sounds. it does more than it says. so i believe that car color has much to do with the performance of the car as much as dress up parts do. and im saying ALL dress up parts. neon, rims, sticker, all that. car color and thats my argument. the darker the color (black), the heavier it is. more of a battle type car. the lighter the color (white), the lighter the car. more of a TA type car This post has been edited by jordeeeezy on Jul 31 2008, 09:16 AM |

Im going to agree here. Everything BESIDES Neon underglows affect the car. In every aspect of the car, including wing, body kit, rims, sticker and color all matter in this game. Pink is the best color for the Evo 8 in general, where as red is suppose to be the best color for the Evo 9. Everything (besides underglows once again) matter in this game. If your skilled enough, you will notice the differences in handling, acceleration, and top speed. I own a bunch of cards and each one handles differently as well as acceleration handing and overall top speed when used with different dress ups.
