88% is a really good grade. I mean, 90+ is better but at least you got something close. And your religion teacher sounds a bit dickheadedish...

QUOTE (the unknown @ Today at 5:40 AM) | got my mid term degree, pretty good grade 88%, but my mom was a bit mad... had a fight with my Religion Teacher today because i was late to prayer, and he deducted 5 marks from my Religion Class... Its not my problem that our new teacher keep us after class and say that people in Saudi can't drive, and that Saudi Arabia is failing, etc etc etc... i mean, you should have stayed in the US if you didn't like it... |
Wow... that sounds fun... people trying to piss on you for something that wasn't your fault... As for your grade of 88%, unless you're aiming for some scholarship, 88% percent is pretty respectable already...

@Geo: eh,its all about his mood, i remember the first period we met him he said this: "Masturbatours, tuck in your ******, and hide the cream, its time for studying"... he is usually not bad, but most of the times he get really pissed... @Midnight Star: i know its harsh, but what can i do??? @RB33: yeah, im really not aiming for a scholarship, they are rigged as hell in Saudi, they pick which semesters they think that they should pay the scholarship, while their friends go to the States mostly, Drinking and doing illegal stuff for three semesters until the government returns them... gs68: so i guess im as good as Zelda ? anyway, here is something MTV Arabia done: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEdIoj3tav4 This post has been edited by the unknown on Jan 26 2009, 05:35 AM

QUOTE (gs68 @ Yesterday at 11:50 PM) | No.
I guess you're not familiar with the controversy that 8.8 caused...
QUOTE (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/EightPointEight) | This trope names comes from the unimaginable havoc created by Gamespot's review of The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess in November 2006, which awarded the game a great-but-not-amazing score of 8.8 out of 10. This may not seem like much, but the game was one of the most anticipated games of all-time, and near-perfect scores were expected.
* It Got Worse when the gamecube version of the game receieved an 8.9, from the same reviewer. This was in spite of the fact that the review's text recommended buying the Wii version instead if the option was available. The reviewer in question was blackballed for his opinion (or some would say logical inconsistency), and reportedly received death threats. The number "8.8" has since become an Internet fad in some gaming circles. * Interestingly, when he later got fired, accusations started flying that he was fired for breaking the opposite rule: the Four Point Scale. See that entry for more details. |

Aha... didn't know that, thanks for the info... @Geo: just get a few of those huge @$$ spiders and let the ants have it, then barbecue them all...

A vacuum would do, but it wouldn't be as fun ... my room was infected by ants, i emptied two cans of Raid, but it didn't do, & somehow, those bastards got into the whole house... that's why we love exterminators... Also, if i ever saw a huge spider, i would friggin leg it, they like they came from a horror film... This post has been edited by the unknown on Jan 27 2009, 05:16 AM
