My dog got hit by a car, last Saturday. She's usually okay when she walks on the road because she only walks next to the curb, even at night, but somebody decided to drive on the LEFT side, and not the right, of the road, hitting my dog. She died on impact. We buried her, yesterday, at my dad's house. Her name is Sassy. I know that that's a weird name, for a dog, but I wanted to call her Skippy, back in 1999, because she runs a lot, but I didn't know she was a female dog, so my sisters decided to call her Sassy. Didn't realize that giving a dog its name, will affect their personality, because over the years, she acts like a brat She lived a good 9 3/4 years. She was like a family member to me. She DID act, a little, human. sometimes. This post has been edited by maxidrifter001 on Oct 13 2008, 08:14 AM

@theunknown Sorry, but the driver did a hit-n-run . One of the neighbors found her and went to my house to ask my mom about my dog. She didn't think that she got hit, but she checked the back porch and my dog wasn't there. The story continues from my previous post. Anyway, I'm spending the week at one of my many aunt and uncle's house(I have several aunts and uncles.), who recently moved to a house, helping my uncle clean houses. An hour ago, we were heading back to my uncle's house, when we got to a stoplight. A black guy got out of a white ford explorer, behind us, and ran to a blue Monty Carlo, two cars away from us, opened the passenger door, and starting beating on the woman driver. The woman starting screaming. My uncle(25) dialed 911. The light turned green and we started moving. We got to the next stoplight and the Monty Carlo kept going, followed by the Ford. Fortunatly, a few blocks later, the Monty Carlo got stopped by a cop(my uncle is still talking to the dispatcher). The cop stopped us, since the Monty Carlo is on the turning lane, so we got a close view of whats going on. Dude, it's like watching T.V. the guy got out, starting to resist the officer; the officer called for back-up, and all kinds of cops arrived. Some came out of the courthouse, that we're next to, some ran on foot, some by motorcycle, one by cruiser, one by bike, and one by golfcart. It was cool to watch. A minute later, they put the perp in the car, and one of the cops had us move on. When we got to the house, just several blocks away, we could hear more sirens. This is the first time I've witnessed something, besides car accidents.

@maxidrifter I had a similar experience. I came home late from work some time ago. Exactly 15minutes after I locked the gates, doors and windows of the house, the local authorities raided our neighbor next door... turns out that he was using his house not only as a drug den but a sex den for gays as well... Admittedly, it was really quite scary at the time of the raid since me and my family didn't know who was being raided next door... and one of them actually managed to get down on our backyard and get attacked by our dog. The following day, we were laughing our hearts out when we found out that the escaping person was not only gay but also stripped down to his boxers when did so and he was shown on TV! Needless to say, the guy/gay got caught by the authorities after our dog got a taste of fresh meat. This post has been edited by RB33 on Oct 15 2008, 04:53 PM
