QUOTE (gs68 @ Today at 10:56 AM)
You too? My friend got charged like $1,700 on his CC for shit he didn't buy.

Also, epic weekend was epic:

Friday:
Went to my first LAN party. Played Team Fortress 2, Rock Band on vocals, guitar, and bass, Beatmania IIDX 11 and 14, and Virtual On. It went from 6PM-3AM, though I left around 12:30AM.

Saturday:
Went to Red Lobster for dinner with family. Ate mostly shrimp and rice pilaf, and a cookie ice cream cake. But, Red Lobster biscuits are smaller now T.T

Sunday:
This. Best $20 of game since Space Invaders Ikaruga Extreme.

But not so epic today was not so epic. Was supposed to wake up at 9:30AM and meet with friend at 12PM for homework, didn't wake up until 12:35PM.

Kung Fu panda and Lego Indiana jones lol? Are they any good? I'm buying an Xbox, and the package I'm getting comes with those. I was thinking about just trading them in and getting something else, but if they're good, might as well keep em.

I really just wanted to play Ace Combat 6, Forza 2, NFS undercover, and orange box XD. Maybe some COD too

And what kind of crappy LAN ends at 3 in the morning O_O, they're meant to go all night til the morning...

And final question. How on earth did you play virtual on? Do you have an arcade emulator or something O_O If so... I WANT IT XD

Virtual on was one of the most awesome arcade games ever. Dunno how good it will be without the controls though. I used to love those mecha styled controls in the arcade

Actually, come to think of it, it went on all night; most of my friends started to leave before 3.

My friend who brought IIDX and his modded PS2 has the PS2 version of Virtual On.

I've never played the KFP or IJ 360 games; I don't really care for licensed games a whole lot.

OMG. I need to buy a PS2 again... I miss virtual on sooooo much. Need to find a cabinet sleep.gif

Would be good if they re-made Virtual On though, with like a magnetic card system to modify the mecha with custom parts. I'd play it all day long.

What are the odds that SEGA will try to re-make the Virtual-On series?

I've lost a few friends lately...god dammit, what did I do to deserve that shit?

Am I doing something completely horrible and not being aware of it? Because most of the time I screw up on things, that's the case.

Well, for example, I had a close friend of mine's who roomed with someone who made cosplays, who I commissioned to make me one for Fanime.

Then afterwards, I sent my costume back to her so she could do a little tweaking on it.

A few months later, I message her regarding my costume, and told me that she was in the process of moving out.

I tried texting/calling/MySpace messaging my friend, no answer. I tried reaching my commissioner again, no answer.

So, I've given up on them. They don't exist to me anymore.

@ gs86
Meh, that kinda stuff happens a lot... it's the way you find out how your true friends are. The ones who stick by you through thick and thin. I was kinda happy when that happened when I left school because the bonds I had with the friends that didn't completely bone everyone got even stronger. Even though I don't get to see these people every day, I still talk to them every day.

Unfortunately for Virtual-On, not that many mecha-fans are available to unleash their mecha-fantasies on it...
