Ya when did Brian's get MT3?? Last time I checked which was 2 weeks ago they still had MT2..

i only go to brians for IIDX and mt2 XD

Oh I was about to say dude... I would be playing at Brians instead of Fun Factory pearlridge. Nah it's cool that there is a Hawaii thread now. Haha. Thanks for the compliment on my GDB-F The R34 is awesome. It's easy to get a 49 with the R34. You just gotta practice.

If you got multiple cars, try what I do - "keep it in the family", challenge your other cars. It helps you improve every once in a while, but it's that once in a while that counts - and you get the rematch points to boot.

racing your own ghosts from your other cars is also a challenge as it allows you to see where you go wrong with one car, and how you can improve that part later on when you rematch and ultimately create strong runs for other people to challenge.

Agreed. I had a fairly strong run on Wangan with my RX-8 and Z33 - found the damn thing hard, nigh impossible, to beat because I took the inside turns and cut close to traffic. And I dunno what I did different on that age-old Hakone run with my Evo9 - I know I changed it, but it was danged hard to beat back then.

What the hell? Me and BJB are a team? I have no idea about that one. I wouldn't mind though. If we do form a team at the tournament that I don't even know about you guys might as well give us all your money. >.>

You sure about that? I used to go 800HP on Hakone just like the HK guys you know.

I live in Hilo so if any of you guys want play while your down here there are two spots with MT3 but the fun factory doesn't have good cabinets and plus it is a little more expensive then the tilt over here unless you put 10 bucks or more down at ff. Me and my friend are pretty competitive and we would love to race anyone from oahu. (we need better competition) There is a team here called hawaiian racers but none of them are hawaiian and they think they are the best team in hawaii. (they are not good at all)

oh and speakin of hakone I like to mix it up cause I have an R34. I tend to race people at 820hp (I slide way better at 820 than 760) or 600hp (makes me feel like I am racing super gt style).

well yupz, I'm from Maui and I guess we can be competitive?
but yeah I've heard of Kipp, he comes to Maui sometimes
and idk if you guys know KoN@! [GDB-F] but he came here like months ago and took TA's <__<

hehehe u guys should race down here, more of a challenge... next time hit me up on this site wen u come down oahu... i call my friend kipp and we can have 2 on 2 at pearlz.. INTER ISLAND BATTLE!! see who the dominant ones are ^.^

Well this past summer I came over to oahu and saw the Waikiki ff. I easily took the crowns for Yokohane and Wangan with one try. I do remember taking osaka too but not sure how many tries it took. Also set a TA record for Wangan Eastbound. (still working on it. Hope to get #1 in nation again some day)

Also saw the machines at Jungle Fun on the last day of my trip. I think I set the record there for wangan eastbound as well but I hit a wall so I was mad and I didn't have that much money left. I hope next year to see more places and set better records.

yeah I was bummed I couldn't go pearlridge. My friends went but I was flying in that night. But I might go oahu this upcoming January.
