everyone on this forum should meet up and battle sometime. lets make this game more interesting cuz its too boring rite now.

yo tourney is a no go this year, mainly because the machines are still "fresh"





we gotta wait until 3dx comes out

are you going to get dx?

I hope my tilt gets dx. Is it still in beta or do they have like a set date already when they are gonna release it? I hope it is just a disc swap and cardboard sign.

so far 3dx is scheduled to come in once the machines have "paid themselves off"


meaning the amount spent to buy it is re earned through arcade usage

eg: it costs 6k for a single, once the machine earns 6k, is paid off. unfortunately, fun factory doesnt start counting it as paid off until they earned profit (by either earning 12k from one machine or just when they feel as is)


but see it as there are so many players, when 3dx is released in eng, we would probably get it.

Mililani actually got WMMT3 before Pearls for some reason.

Pearls the more popular one so they should naturally get it first.

Either way I don't mind though. I'll go to wherever has it.

You guys seen that thing at Fun Factory's? Its something like buy $10 in tokens get 20 tokens free or buy $20 in tokens get 40 tokens free all next week, I think that's pretty awesome! Can play more games for my money!

That tourney thing @ Ridge yesterday was something else - not that it happened, just the poster I saw for it on the table. I took one look at it and quietly LMAOd.
Who's gonna wanna pay for lessons when you can learn on your own (or w/ a friend) for almost free? You're already paying for your own games - WMMT isn't karate!

And srsly, the "announcement" on top of the cabs need to be taken down or changed (if there's another one planned); if I recall, they have a date on it around early Oct08 - it's already 1w till Nov08.

wait, they are offering lessons??? whos dumb enuff to do that? well maybe i should offer to do some lessons and make some easy money! i gotta check this out.

ROFLMAO - for starters, that sounds crazy. Youre already paying for the game - why pay for lessons when you can learn on your own or through a friend, both being mostly cost-free alternatives?

Man. Seriously. Who would pay for lessons? Haha. What are they going to teach? How to brake, gas and crappy shift points? Blue turn is easy, yellow is medium to hard and red is hard? They're probably going to try and teach how to wall tap the wrong way, "Wall tapping? Just hit your car against the wall. Yeah just like that. Now if you give me $20 more I'll tell you WHERE to hit your car. Oh wait, let me go ask Bambi or Kona over there how to do it EXACTLY..." XD Seriously, who the hell is going to give the lessons????? If it's not one of the more experienced players like Kona or I you're not going to learn anything.

Pearlridge Fun Factory is really just getting dumb.

People should realize that Tilt is better:
Six tokens per game.
$5 BILL = 25 tokens = 4 games

Funs:
Six credits per game.
$5 BILL = 3 games

Even if you use $10 or $20 bills if you compare it to using that many $5 bills at Tilt, Tilt would be cheaper after funs' bonus tokens. The only thing bad about Tilt is that they don't have 4 machines. Other than than, they have a food court AND bathroom less than a minute away. Fking Funs is just trying to milk whatever they can out of the WMMT community there.

Oh yeah. OAK person. I remember you now. I most likely won't say, "hi," to you though. I don't really say, "hi," unless they say it to me first.
