BMWs blow.

Yeah it's pretty shitty paint. My FD's black isn't too bad but it's been well taken care of, even then, the front bumper is faded pretty bad.

I have owned 2 mazdas, how many have you owned? Funny thing is, I have never owned a german car in my life.

I have also spent the last 6-7 years of my life doing automotive detailing and working with car paint short of bodyshop work to know that most OEM automotive paintjobs (japanese/american, and 70 percent of european suck 2 big ones).

You own a riced out civic.

my fd and fc paint was pretty shitty, especially the fd. its pretty common.

i saw a resprayed vr today and its amazing to see one thats actually shiny.

Cool story Hansel. Next time I want your resume I'll ask. Mazdas look good in red unlike BMWs.

A BMW blows? Compared to what? Ferrari, Lambo, or the other big dogs like Bentley Maserati, ext.., I dont know I rather have a 750li with 0 repair and maintenance then the 800+ it cost for a Mercedes or Lexus or just about any other brand out there.

Actually, its statistically shown that black cars get ticketed more than any other "color" .

My assumption is that with any other color, the cop tries to figure out the make/model of the car visually, unconsciously. So the cop takes a few seconds more before he pulls out his clocker. With the black, there's no real psychological interest.

If you think about it, a red blur sounds more interesting than a black blur

I dunno. I don't really dig red.

Funny enough, the paint on my white FC is much better than the paint on my red FD.

Shit's crazy.

I still dunno what colour to paint my red FD though. Totally not keeping it red.

And I agree,red isnt a good color choice for a modern BMW.Blue,black,silver,and white are the way to go
However,on some older ones,red looks pretty good,like on this E30 M3

Speaking of BMWs,I saw a blue E46 M3 today

Black is such a bland colour on cars.

They were both really cool guys. Matter of fact the owner of the Black R33 is about to hook me up on a sweet deal with window tint.

All Mitsus have that red turning pink issue, too. For some odd reason, Mitsu refuses to clearcoat any of their red cars, the Evos included.
