I wish I could get pics of my car in this snow, but I know the roads will be clear on Monday night when I get it back.

I managed to get a few new pictures of some of our vehicles to show you guys.

On the 14th, I flew up to Traverse Michigan to pick up a Military, 2 1/2 ton Mobile Command Center.

After looking the Deuce and a Half over, I drove it the 1,500 miles down to Austin Texas.
With a top speed of 55mph and a 0-55 time of 10-15 minutes, it was a looooong trip.
It took me 3 days of driving.... but it was quite an awesome trip.

For those of you who have seen the 70's movie "Easy Rider", you should recognize this bike.
It's a nearly perfect replica of the "Captain America" Bike:

*EDIT* The Black and orange mustang in the background of the bike pics is a VIN verified 64 1/2 Mustang convertible.

So what you're telling me is that you made a trip up to the Midwest and couldn't be bothered to swing into the Twin Cities for a beer?

No, not really, I've had a dozen or so people come up to me, ask a few questions, look the truck over, and then tell me that they wish they could buy one.

1500 miles and $650 worth of diesel.

There are so many things you could use that truck for. A Camper (like an RV), Mobile tool shop, Mobile Deer Blind for hunting, an office... you name it.

If you had a standard Deuce, without the command center on the back it's the ultimate mudding/rescue vehicle.

You go with the turbo or NA variant?

And now you have to start saving all your used motor oil wink2.gif
