I saw a Mercedes Benz SLS in front of my school in Vienna. He didn't open the throttle though. What a shame. I wanted to hear the engine.

This is a video that I took with my Powershot SX1IS (watch it in 1080P please)
YOUTUBE ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ow0A6f-zSBk )

If you pause at the beginning of the video (around 0:01-0:02), the driver has a child. What a lucky dad.
Oh and saw a Mercedes Benz C63 AMG (he opened the taps and the V8 sound was amazing) and a Ferarri 360 Challenge Stradale when I was in a bus on my way home. I don't have pics because my camera ran out of memory.
I think Vienna is an interesting place to see new cars.

7th-8th of May.

We will be down there with sponsors, hopefully showing off my 3-rotor. Still not 100% sure if we're going to enter or not, 'cause we're waiting on the motor now. : / Obviously the car won't run without a motor.

Funny you said that. I once lived in Switzerland, in Geneva actually for 3 years and if you exclude the Geneva motorshow which is the biggest event in Geneva, there are nice cars but most of them are from the Emirates or Dubai but with Geneva license plates, it's quite rare. I saw when I was there a matte black Murcielago LP640, a white Porsche Carrera GT, a Rolls Royce Phantom drophead coupe, and other cars with an UAE plate number. Oh and before the GTR was launched in Europe, I saw it first on the road there. It had a Michigan plate number. And I also saw a Ford GT, but when look at all these cars, they aren't exactly brand new.

Just wanted to share a picture I took today of my friend's Evo VIII near my house. We both learned how to drive stick in this car when it first came out, so I have some fond memories of it.

We decided to do a small shoot today since he just got it back from the bodyshop, the exterior was in pretty bad shape after getting beat up in the corona rally by my friend entered years ago and after a couple accidents. Was good to see her back in her prime.

Most of the 458 sightings have been from Switzerland, followed closely by Germany. And I have seen some very nice things from people I have met on Flickr, including an 8C Spider,a few SLSs,458s,and many, many more.

That matte black LP640....I know of that one. I have a Flickr contact who has taken pictures of it. It has a pink interior. Seriously.

Yeah I have to agree that Switzerland is a nice place to see nice cars (well in the summer actually, around April till September is where there are a lot of supercars.)
Here are some sightings when I was in Geneva
Shelby Mustang GT500

Aston Martin DBS

Ferrari F430 Scuderia

The Matte Black Lambo LP640 (it has a yellow interior)

And guess what car is this (If you have played Gran Turismo 4 and bothered checking the dealership, you probably know it.)

And the 2009 Geneva Motorshow show stopper, the Citroen GT

Speaking of Vienna. My second encounter with a Ferrari 458 Italia. This time I heard it and it was like the sound of a honey waterfall with Keira Knightley swimming in it.

Well, there is a matte black LP640 with a pink interior. I thought it was that same one shown,it had similar plates, but a different number. You are right about Switzerland in the summer. My ex went there last summer (she was in Basel),and she saw 2 things,an Elise and a 360. That yellow car is a Plymouth Prowler,I have seen alot of those.

And your lucky for seeing another 458. I am hopefully seeing one next Wednesday.

@BmwNeoType,that #62 F430 GT that you posted was supposed to be at Boardwalk today for their show.

Speaking of that,I will post some shots later from today.
Plus I saw this beautiful 930 Targa tonight.

[ Post merged on Apr 24 2010, 08:54 PM ]
A couple of shots from today at RUF. I will post shots from Boardwalk tomorrow. The F50 wasnt there, but there were a few other amazing cars there, such as an F40 and an Enzo.

Easy, Ferrari F355 Spider. It was easy to spot because of the side vents
My turn. Does anybody know what car is this?

Really a DB2/4? ermm2.gif
Are my eyes deceiving me or is it something else. I don't think it's an Aston. The front might resemble a DB2/4 but the bonnet, the back and the rear side windows doesn't.

At least I know it's European, made around '50s~'70s, Italian or British.

Well,its the closest.... hmm.gif
Ill see if I can find out anything else.

The next closest looks like a normal DB2.
