JZX100 - Make another thread! I wanna follow the build of the space wedge.

Shoot me an idea. tongue.gif

But until then, it's just.. well, done. Apart from a radio and A/C.

And it's f**king boring. :\

So if its 'done' what are you doing with it? I would get rid of it or build it if you are bored.

Only reason I don't want an S14 is because of how easy they are to drift. It's like, hurrdurr not even trying but i am bustin' people's asses. hurrrrr After drifting an S13 for the first time ever Saturday, I can't really see how people try to drift them sometimes and manage to suck at it.

Considering cars usually aren't designed at the factory for "drifting quotient" it only seems natural for people who WANT to drift to gravitate towards the platform that's been found to be most suited for it. No one gets more points based on the difficulty there is to get a certain car to drift, only how well they do it (as far as I know).

Sounds like someone's a little jealous of those S14 guys... wink2.gif

Actually D1, the first year Gittin won, an event I attended, they did add points for a Cefiro due to the chassis being uncommonly difficult for drifting. I don't know if I agree with that or not, it's all still ballet on wheels. I just like watching cars doing things the manufacturers clearly didn't intend for them to do.

That A70 looked good sideways, or wrongways for that car.

I hear FDs are REALLY hard to drift, but thenagain some people say drifting is hard and others say its really easy.

The FD is probably the hardest car I've ever drifted before. It's a great platform to learn on though, 'cause once you get it down, you can drift pretty much any car. laugh.gif

I had never drifted an S13 until last weekend at a local competition. Waltzed on in the car after I blew a coolant seal in my FD and linked the whole course first lap out. cool.gif I don't really think getting an FD to drift is a bad idea, it's just it's hard to do so don't be discouraged if you screw up or take a little longer to get it than other people do. My buddy got pretty pissy to the point where he wanted to quit drifting because it was so hard.

Of course, he eventually got it down and he's to the point where he's almost kickin' my ass. laugh.gif

Ah, ok...well from first hand of a FD3S drifter that makes the statement a little more believable. I dont plan on drifting anything, its something I used to be obsessed with before Tokyo Drift came out but I didnt like the direction the scene was going and now Im 'involved' in road racing and looking to get into Time attack when events start to come together around here at neighboring tracks.

And of course after I get a new car, because this SW20 needs to leave the house before I decide to go pick up another platform.
