Only cars I liked were the BMWs,the SLR,599,the blue 32,and the black 360 Spider in the 2nd Lambo pic The rest......really dont like I wish we had car shows like this in Texas Only ones we have are American classics, and they either consist of very few cars in total,or very few pristine condition cars, the rest being rusty, beat up,etc.

The blue one has honda offset/style wheels and looks like a brah truck. That's the problem with it.
The silver car used to look like the blue car until I took 1/2 the reigns of it and prevented it from going down the shitty path of every other US Spec GT-R. It's tough to find a US GT-R owner with 1/2 decent taste.

QUOTE (HateSkylines @ 7 hours, 8 minutes ago) | Deeeee-nied! That was a little cold though, you cant respect a Vspec-II Air23? It does look alot better then the blue one in my honest opinion. |
I like it,but te blue one looks better I like darker colors better on R32s anyway, like Nakazatos in ID Anyway, heres some I took today Very crappy pic of a Maserati Quattroporte. Its in front of the Infiniti crossover. It caught me off gaurd .It was passing by when I got my phone out to call someone, then it was even with the Infiniti when the camera was on,so i had to zoom in,which took forever........... .So there you go Then I think this is an older BMW M3,not too sure.It did have the M badge on there I also saw an Impreza STI, Porsche Boxster, another Quattroporte, and a Bentley Continental. 3 of those were on the other side of the freeway.I saw the Bentley stopped behind a car at a red light when I was turning left I dont usually post wrecks I see......but this one in Burleson, which i watched happen in front of me,involved an RX8 A Tahoe was changing lanes and didnt see the RX8,and bumped into it,causing it to spin out and hit the barrier Front end was moderately smashed in,and the 8 was turned around on the NB shoulder. The Tahoe that caused the wreck.......not much damage at all This post has been edited by Air23 on Jul 28 2009, 02:20 PM

There's nothing wrong with liking the blue 32 (I just commented because you said you really didn't like the others in the lineup). Everyone has different taste. That car is fast and there's a decent non adjustable suspension package on it. However BMW Neo and I appreciate the effort that goes into making a car both perform and look aggressive. When it looks more seamless. We appreciate the math and subtle suspension geometry adjustments it takes to daily drive without any rubbing. There's a different type of dedication that goes into that than simply preparing the car for racing (although proper set up involves that too). You can have a discordant mess of a car aesthetically but be properly set up to run fast but then what was the point of using a nice car in the first place? We feel you can't just be all show and you can't just be all racing; There's a happy balance. It should be fairly obvious that it's not always an inversely proportional relationship. Although BMW Neo being the wheel guy will opt for a more extreme measure; I tend to agree within moderation- there is definitely a different feeling when driving a properly lowered car at speed and cornering. Done right, there's no rubbing and less slop in the steering response. Aesthetics and the seamless look are a secondary bonus of doing this. The challenge comes in when factoring daily driveability. But even in the most messed up LA streets, it's not that hard. The Blue 32's owner actually thinks his wheels were in poor taste and is looking for new ones. His friend got them for him and he was too cheap to get new ones. I'm trying to help him out. But no matter how many times I bring up lowering the car as an option... well he's an older gentleman and like most older gentlemen with these cars he's not too keen on lowering from fear of bottoming out. I'll help him pick some proper, tasteful and aggressive wheels and work from there.. This post has been edited by The J on Jul 28 2009, 06:02 PM

QUOTE (cmspaz @ 3 hours, 34 minutes ago) | Let me guess, Cars and Coffee meet?
As for Air23, I'm sure there're plenty of cars like that around the DFW area. Go to the Dallas Cars and Coffee next month. This month's was last Saturday. |
Hmmmm......never knew about that But in those pics,I saw a white R35........ same one I posted earlier? But,heck, this was up in and around Grapevine and DFW Intl.,Im not up there too often, which explains how I only have 1000km on an E9 card that ive had since March This post has been edited by Air23 on Jul 29 2009, 01:20 PM

You are right, good taste is acquired.
Not everyone can have it.
