@hengjxj in this case i suggest you look into your car's performance. HIgh possibility your car is stock. IMO stock R34 are quite good, just that its longer than most cars.

wangan midnight maximum tune chapter 19[/URL]Oh....thanks for replying...Sry to ask this question, but I am sure that this is not posted yet in one of the threads...ok the question is: Do you guys remember stage 19 during the beginner's tuning.....cos' now I'm 580HP using my R33GT-R BNR34 and then I found it extremely hard to conquer this stage.I noticed it's in C1. There's lots of curves and bends...I know that's alright for me. But I only have 1 isiotic problem that is the number of NAMCO cars and trucks. I suspect I drifted too much then I banged on 1 of them.....BAD DAY mad.gif

Here's the link\:CHapter 19

just use gear 3 for super sharp ones and 3 for not so.

Dude you're playing story with boost on, as long as you don't screw up on the last turn, you'll be fine.

I started MT3 in the summer and im now better then most players who started in MT2.

Just watch alot of good people play and watch their style of playing.

3rd gear is too low... imo... unless its a 5 gear car ofcourse..

Focus more on steering than shifting.. a great player told me this once.. n i got alot better.

Gee....I thought that was easy...BTW, how did you guys pass through that stage...Idiotic 'blackbird'!!It was certainly easy passing the devilZ but not the other 2. Their cornerings are way too different from what 've observed the past few months that I've been playing MMT3. Arrgh...I can't wait to out-run that blackbird....it is one of the most irrating incident that I have eva come across.

Oh I think 5th geare is too fast...better use 4th gear... unsure.gif

You have a break pedal. It's not just there to make it seem "realistic." Keep at it though. You'll get down in no time.

Brake pedals are very useful for improving drivers...
You'll need to learn how to brake well...then when braking is alright you can learn when not to brake...and rely on steering alone happy.gif

Another suggestion is run it in Auto and use your brakes as well as your gas.

If you know your footwork and how to counter-steer [enough>properly], you'll have no problem.
Like "riding your gas" - believe it, there's a difference between that and simply jamming your gas.
["Riding" involves applying enough pressure to depress the pedal halfway; can be used for both brake and gas.]
Also helps to let off the gas a bit when entering a turn to reduce wheel friction, allowing some slide. And throwing yourself around corners/vehicles may help, but this DEFINITELY takes practice.
SPOILER

Yaw, I guess...

Been doing Manual for awhile now, even during Battles and Story - but still can't do MT on Hakone.

Always use MT for R34's. Of course, use MT for other cars, but you definitly want to use MT for a moving wall... ...

Man, how much more do you have to resemble my style of racing games laugh.gif
yes, MT works fine on all the rest of the cars except 4-gear cars where AT works amazing like the MT.

Ooookay........I think you need a crash course on how not to crash 1st... : \
As in hitting walls and all...If you're really having that much problem in story mode then you need to watch how ppl play and learn from them...
Steer less...more lining...

jus like everyone says . use the brakes . it's there for a reason . if you are endlessly screwing up at those chapters try like ghost or t/a or watch videos . makes you memorize the tracks easily and kno when to shift . that is what helped me . happy.gif

LMAO...
Post whores...
Anyways...Gear shifting is the 1st thing u should learn properly if u wanna use MT...
U can just shift everytime it hits red on the tach but it'll be slower compared to our UBER shifting points...
Then again that's a start...start with shifting everytime it hits red then adjust ur shift points to go even faster
