Weird...

technically the best way to play well when using MT...

is to shift as little as possible..

so you wont really be slamming and shifting gears

hum i going to try that

I find AT harder than MT... shift points are completely wrong the way i drive. Cornering speed suffers a lot.. which is my only advantage. Tried once , never going to do again. With AT... don't know if this makes any sense but it kinda makes the car grip better, by changing to lower gear when you really don't need to

I kinda understand that, Pyro; however, you also need to watch your HP - too much HP bars, and you'll literally be iceskating w/ no skates.

Of course, knowing how to use Auto well makes doing things like Hakone/AT relatively easy - if you're lucky, it'll even keep you a long way from last spot in a multi-way battle; just remember to minimize usage of your brakes to a need-to basis - if anything, the gas kinda covers a fair portion of the braking function (thru wheel-vs-ground friction).

I think it's best to use AT on cars with 4 transmission... While MT for cars with higher transmission... cool.gif

Auto have a bad response of gear shifting, this is the main reason that most people choose MT over AT. You'll have to get used to it since WMMT is the only game that actully uses a 6-shift gear system instead of pushing the stick up and down like BG4 or ID series.

MT since I started. I only use AT if the gears are spoilt.
