why get so worried. dont bother worrying here because we cant fix it. if you gave away discards, thats your fault. and if people use them, thats their problem. you have no right to ask someone to give that card to you since technically, they made it with their money.

Erm.. I just got to know of this glitch. Converted an old car that was previously lost during one of my overseas trips in Hongkong. Lucky me.. @ kazuki-kun, I think you worry just a wee bit too much. But anyhow, to answer your query, a WMMT3 discard after being ported over to WMMTDX is kinda useless. You get the car in the discard at the point of renewal, and that's about it. The discard looks the same as would a normal one, just that there's that additional USED wording stamped over. I'm sure people who did the trick had something like this: (sorry for the bad quality) Dare (or someone else who said that) is right.. A case of "Present Card" for the used WMMT3 discard can never occur. How can future information get onto an old card?! I'm approaching the card limit for my converted card.. Perhaps I'd post a picture just to confirm everything. This post has been edited by ShinN` on Dec 26 2008, 06:45 PM

QUOTE (dk-2 @ Today at 6:45 AM) | I'm F**King lost and frustrated about this.
So does it make a "dupe" or does it make a freaking discard again!?

it makes a dupe. i used one more than 5 times and it still worked so definitely not a present card.

@ Kiaku:
Don't know if I'm answering you correctly, but for WMMT3 discards, I doubt so. The glitch works in the way that it recognizes the discard to be a FT car that's about to be ported over. After it's been stamped with USED, it should not read data in there, just like a normal card that went through the porting over in the orthodox method (well, at least that better be the way - goodness knows how many duplicates others can make if not).
For WMMT3DX discards, I believe you have to burn off the 5 plays in the "Present Card" before it actually gets converted into a discard. That, as far as I know, should not have any cloning issues whatsoever. IMHO, even if you give away that "Present Card", there should be no way of either cloning or renewing it after the 5 plays are used.
Just my 2 cents..

i dont you understood that very well. he means, if you've created a new car in MT3 and still have one more space to create another on MT3, can you still use the discard? i think you can since it'll still retain the previous data.

yeah, but they're not recent backups.
u can use the first discard you ever got and just get a 600hp car off it.
pointless.
