Even if its a claim... the thought of someone else having an almost "exact" copy of your car for FREE is quite disappointing, considering the time, money and effort invested into making a FT car and its corresponding stars and setups...

I switch using cars so many times, i think i only gave out a couple e9 discards like 5 months ago, and it was horrible b4, but styll this is crap bc of what RB33 said... All that time n money.. And if its lost, GG

This sucks. +1 for stinginess w/ discards - good thing only folks who got any were mostly my friends (only 1 guy I didn't know who was a newbie).

And the thought of someone obtaining a FREE copy of your card for all the T&E you spent isn't just disappointing - it's infuriating and insulting. Seriously, you could have a 95% clear run on most courses while this guy gets a dupe of your best card (as an example) and lights up the <pinball> machine like no tomorrow - under your name.

Of course, that's if I'm interpreting this correctly.
I'm in agreement - Namco needs to be notified and a patch distributed. Anti-clone system appears to work only on hacking via traditional means; this is totally ass-backwards to MT3 - I mean, WTF?

so ive read through this thread and was wondering if someone could confirm something to me. If you transfer a MT3 discard over to MT3DX you automatically get FT from the original card the discard came from?

So my GDB-C, which is fully tuned in MT3, becomes a discard. I place that discard into MT3DX, and it'll be 820HP, and will need to do story modes 181 and onwards to get the extra 5HP, while everything else remains the same, including the dress up level and crap?

Good thing I don't give away discards.....Coco has one of my discards but it's coco. As long as Evan doesn't get it, it's fine. Knowing him, he'd mass dupe it.

Did anyone contact Namco bout this yet? They should release a firmware upgrade or something for this.

Personally, I don't give out discards to anyone, not even to close friends.

Besides, I don't bring around discards PERIOD. Literally, put them home, be a backup.

Keep your discards to yourselves folks..'cause I ain't liking to see my car used by
