No one really noticed I was gone I'm sure. But I'm back from The European Union (France specifically).

I will truly miss the land of tiny cobblestone streets, where a large plurality of people dress like me, 90% of all cars are manual transmission, No one speaks English, public transportation is efficient and accessible, nudity on television is on every channel, and where the buildings are almost as old as how I feel.

Just decided to post some pics:

In with the train, Jason Bourne style.
SPOILER

Park outside our hotel. You can see Eiffel in the back.
SPOILER

Da Vinci Code- J.
SPOILER

At the Arc de Triomphe. 2nd pic- notice anything strange about the "handicapped elevator?
SPOILER

Frenchified Pedo Bear???
SPOILER

It is worth noting I did have a familiar face and her sisters along...
SPOILER

Interpret this image however you like:
SPOILER

Strange convention I noticed in France. The graffiti in Los Angeles, is a sometimes frightening and often misunderstood world of expression and territorial demarcation.... Graffiti in France on the other hand seems like it's nothing more than adolescent boredom manifesting itself as an attempt at humour. I'm surprised there's even as much graffiti as I saw considering the military police seem to be everywhere and carry FAMAS bullpup automatic rifles.
SPOILER

It's the evacuation plan placard- the images look open to interpretation though:
SPOILER

One more fun thing- SPACE INVADERS AND PAC MAN GHOSTS!!! yes. I actually found them in Paris:
SPOILER

Those were the only ones I managed to photograph. There are dozens, possibly hundreds more of them. More info here: http://pingmag.jp/2008/09/01/space-invader/

Might add more pics later. Till next time. I remain; the J

The price of bread is also delicious. The government regulates it. Interestingly the number of street musicians is regulated too... To a certain extent this regulates their price. But anyway aside from that social commentary; Their cheese is also incredibly delicious. Onion soup was the first dish I ordered and it was superb.

An alley where restaurants hustle you for business. Interesting.

They might have it over there. There's gotta be some arcade to entertain them, though the graffiti seemed to indicate that a lot of people are bored over there. Besides, we didn't go looking for one. There's plenty of stuff to do/visit in Paris: Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, Sacre Couer, Louvre, Notre Dame, Versailles, EAT CREPE (seriously, I had it for dinner on my birthday), etc.
