Evo IX is good, better than VIII imo. use a FD, FD is slow but in boost on battles, its agility makes it sneaky as hell..

Thanks for your opinion, I've also been told that Evo 9's are better than Evo 8's in DX.
& that's one disadvantage of an FD. I can't take wangan titles with mine, I can barely take yoko most of the time..

I'm not sure which car I want to stick to yet, but I have moved a few to DX already.

in order for the FD to be as fast as evos on straights in TA or boost OFF battles, you gotta know how to control the car pretty damn well, since it has slow ass acceleration. anyone that can keep up with an evo VIII in boost off and TA, i have to give it up to you guys. its hard to do (assuming the guy with the evo VIII is around the same skill level as you or better)

E8 is the best car to stick to.

I read the thread. Even though you dont want to use the E8, it's stillt he best car to stick to.

agreed, evo VIII is most friendly, easiest car to drive. even though it was "downgraded" in DX from what i heard and the evo IX got "upgraded" but i STILL perfer evo IX over evo VIII even in MT3. lol

evo 8/9 is the most balanced car of all.

Thanks for your opinion, I agreed with you although the reason I don't want to use it is because like everyone has one and most stick to them.

Yeah that's true. It is the easiest car to drive and it is also fast, has good handling and good accel.

I agree with you 100%, what would you say is the 2nd best car to stick to then?

still, no matter how constant you are in an FD, the evo viii WILL catch up/pass your car, thanks to the high grip and monster like acceleration. but in battle, even though its light, you can block easily with an FD, against other light cars. but against heavier cars, good luck. lol

Might wanna give the DX RX-8 a try...
Handles like a 4wd...It already has a track record of good TAs and average battle abilities...

R32 is a pretty balanced car and easy to get used to.

that actually happened to me. back in MT2, when there was no wangan TA, where the R33 kicks R34 ass. i drove my R33 and was like i hate this pos handling (no offence to you) lol, then i started like my R34 even more. lol but now in MT3, R33 kicks ass on wangan.

You ask for an opinion. People give you one. You think of some excuse to counter that opinion.

You want a good car, but you dont want to use an E8. So why not just figure out what the 2nd best car is, and go with that?

Or be original. So what if a car sucks? Make it good yourself. Why do you have to be a follower and listen to what everyone else has to say?

depends on how you drive. acceleration wise its kinda close, its fast, but not exactly up to evo VIII or IX level.

and agree with DJnocturnal...now this thread should be closed or just let it die..lol
