So, first time Kamen rider fan, just finished Kiva as my introduction series, and I'd have to say I am very dissapointed. I did enjoy it, but it was not the most exciting thing I've seen.
The romantic subplot between Wataru, Taiga, and Mio was just irritating and a pain in the ass to get through, along with some very slow buildup at times. However, the designs, the concept of the double timeline, and the soundtrack is what kept me going through. 6/10 - could've been an 8 to a 9 without the love triangle or the slow buildup. Next series that I'm gonna watch will be Den-O...seems cool enough, albeit much less serious or dark than Kiva.  |

you should see kamen rider 555 or kamen rider dragon knight for starters ... den-o and hibiki next.The best of the series now IMO seems decade as the series pay tribute to all the previous 10 of the newest series like 555, den-o kiva. Newest series ongoing is Kamen rider double (w).
the kiva series is the 3rd latest series, before decade and double so enjoy the rest of the kamen rider series man:) |

so far all the series i had watched is the jap version except for kamen rider black and black rx.
then again i had seen only some of the series ... im lucky my country shows the dubbed version of the original series ...its from then on i become addicted to the kamen rider series ... can compared kamen rider with power rangers ... both series are still on-going |
