well OK, if Rin says it's ok, then yeah it's fine by me.
The Ghost 86 still needs some work. Seeing as the new Online car dealership is more on the 80's JDM, 86 cars included both Levin and Trueno, I don't see why won't he do a tune for it.
For visual starters, Black 86 TE37 brown
*sorry rin, the Yokohama 3-spokes aren't available. I think GT5 made it exclusive for only the Genki Silvia.
Things to work on the 86: transmission - the top speed is superb but is extremely slow off the line and I mean EXTREMELY SLOW. Suspension is a bit drifty but controllable. If Onboy can do a more responsive drift setting that can be good for circuits too, then I want to see his outcome as well.
If he has the Shuichi Shigeno Version, then same things-to-work-on apply too.

Brown TE37's...? I duped Onboy123 an AE86 with the black JS+M's or whatever those 5-spokes are.

Ok, since madnoob is utterly useless at getting the point across ( ), I'll clarify something for you right now. The sole reason, the sole, main, only reason for it stalling off the line in the low gears is the slicks you're using. Slicks being the racing soft tyres. If you really want to improve the off-the-line acceleration, take the tyres down to something reasonable for 270hp, like sport soft tyres. Worried about a lack of grip? Run with SRF on, no one's going to notice if you don't mention its use.

QUOTE (Gunma's 34 @ 6 minutes, 32 seconds ago) | So... Tire compound also affects acceleration, huh? Won't that be a dangerous thing on going through corners on full gas? I've tried a setup like that with 4wds for easy drifting but Sports + Racing slicks combo... won't that, I dunno...
Ah well, I'll test your theory out in a moment when I connect my PS3. |
Very much so, the racing tyres not really necessary unless you have something like a 800hp R34, and even then, it could be said that they're overkill, leave alone the little 86s microscopic engine. Ghost or not, it won't be going particularly fast off the line with those tyres. Eh, not really, me and umadson? (or rather, since we're on here, immanoob) do that all the time. If you really are scared of crashing hideously, run with SRF on, as I said. It's the grip cheat button on GT5, so…yea. Enough GT5 talk though, when's it out? I wanna watch it! Nao!
