Now that I'm back in the Philippines and has tested that my PS2's internals are working at 100% optimum efficiency, here are some notes that I'd like to point out concerning the progress:
Game engine updates: In order to satisfy the script's requirements, we'll be using the following games for the racing-animation: 1. Gran Turismo 5 2. Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 3. Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero 4. Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift 2
a. GT5 will be used for the best scenes and for beyond 2 combatants, spectators included in the race. b. TXR3 will be used for the fact that Nagoya & Osaka full are there and to do specific scenes which require both Traffic and the true Shutoku Area. This will be done both 1 Player & 2 Player. For 1 Player, the following AI will represent the following Characters: 1. Jintei - Jintei / The Emperor BNR34 GT-R custom 2. Seiji Tsuchiya - Tarmac Suzuki (Top Level Team Leader) 3. Chiaki Miyazaki - Golden Wolf (Wanderer) 4. Midnight Cinderella - Midnight Cinderella (Wanderer) 5. Midnight Rose & ???* - respective 13 Ogre General Boss character
*Rin has yet to reconfirm which 13 Devil / 13 Ogre General member will appear in Hachioji, hence the ???.
c. Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero will be used to satisfy the first debut scenes of Tsubasa Aramaki - his AE86 holding the TRD Over Fenders. TXR3 doesn't have this in the game nor does GT5 & TXRD2 and TXR Zero is the only car satisfying this requirement. This will call for some drastic script changes though. Primary script change would be:
Tsubasa appears in Day 2 / debuts with his AE86 and first encounter with Seiji. Takumi Takashi will debut in Day 1 following the same script content but will not mention of the AE86 until after the opening of Day 2. Seiji Tsuchiya will be using a client's Evo (see script for details) instead of his Evo VIII/IX when he encounters Tsubasa and beats him. The potential client's car to be used is a White Lancer Evo V with a red single stripe vinyl & GT Wing. TXRD2 will be used to cover certain touge scenes. Depending if the AI has the suited or needed character car or not, it's either standard battle modes or the ghost feature will be utilized - Time attack scene against a ghost car to depict 1 VS 1 scenes. This may be most imminent with Tsubasa VS Oniko (feat. Seiji) race at the final portion of the script.
TXR3 updates: 1. Wang* will be using carbon-monocoqued V8 powered MX5 NB8C. In GT5, a full tuned NC8C will be used coated in a shade of dark grey close to a carbon monocoque - either solid or pearl or matte paint. 2. Tsubasa's AE86 in TXR3 will be the stage 2 spec - after the overhaul and body reinforcement done by Chiaki & Raymond with the L4 High-tune engine swap. 3. Dead Zone Kujira R32 has been converted based from the Reina R32 car that I modded.
TXR Zero: 1. Tsubasa's AE86 in TXR0 will be the stage 1 spec - his debut scene with the TRD Fenders on his 86, maxxed out minus the mileage trick.
