I was hoping oniko has a bad past with Seiji or something, and then ending up being an antagonist or plot-related type of anti-villain, like my Crown Supremacy ROAD 4 story. As a super serious street (s)King.

Wrong, the basic premise is already known, the antagonist is non other than the bully herself, and the popular 'queen' of the high school, and she drives to dominatre the night as she already has been and 3 new chosen souls shall strive to battle to the top as the Snow Winter Demon shall come for his reasons!

Thing is, Oniko Shimamiya is really destined to be a bystander and an observer more than a racer, due to her rather lukewarm response towards street-racing, as stated before in her profile, she see no point in gaining any fame as a racer.

And there's no way she can have a bad past with Seiji. LOL Since she doesn't even know Seiji or meet him at first place before.

She can however; see those type of "stuff" normal racers cannot see, such as aura and other supernatural stuffs and etc. (Something that defines a strong opponent usually. CoughTokyoXtremeRacer3BossesCough)

And I'd definitely update and keep you noted, so don't worry, KENZZ.

Sorry if I am sounding dumb here...but how does Oniko Shimamiya look like? You got a picture of her or something, Rin? (didn't really read the whole thread completely yet...)

Wow...her name reminds me slightly of the singer of Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni, Eiko Shimamiya.

And she does look very creepy and eerie in a sense...can't really imagine her driving a car and race...to be honest. She seemed so reserved.

Seeing your picture in your icon, Kuroi...I think I might have to readjust my hair-drawing style for Oniko, since I really love your icon's hair...they look so soft and ghostly...

Nah, I plan to make her long hair as soft as possible without using bangs since that kind of hair-drawing brings out the eerie feel a lot more for her character.

I haven't considered giving her a haircut yet. ;P

Regardless of what she does, she always did it with her normal hairstyle. As mentioned, she keeps everything simple and easy.

Will she be majorly present in the franchise/saga/series? Or at least a recurrent minor cahracter?

I wonder what's her chemistry between racers and the main character.

"Not bad, but i know it isn't your true power yet, i can sense and see into your soul!" she looks into his eyes, and then he gets transported into some netherworld maybe? Then he reverts and brakes and loses. Meets her in school and go. "You're the Oni aren't you" -awkward moment. Oniko: What... are you talking about? *goes back reading her mystery book* -Awkward silence-

What kind of chemistry is that exactly...? Sounds kinda awkward for some reason...

At any rate, I definitely look forward to Oniko's debut in Gunma 34's story. Sure looks pretty interesting enough...and with Oniko's eyes...I wonder what will she see in Seiji if they both ever met...

May release a Tsubasa promo video featuring Street Supremacy [PSP] within the week. To make things quick, I won't feature any OC's... just the video, text, and probably me voicing Tsubasa in Japanese (via IM translator & google Translate; unless someone out there is willing to do Japanese translations for me)

Oh...Street Supremacy...that game looks sweet...but the reviews on it are kinda lukewarm though...

Anyway, I look forward seeing this...Tsubasa character. Is he the one with the star shirt and purple jacket?

Anyway, while busy experimenting Nurse-Chizuru still along with other photo-shots of Tsubasa along with the music club, here's something extra that will be included in Day 2 of Hachioji.

This is a conversation scene of both Ryugu and Oniko...now what are they chatting exactly? You'd find out soon...

explain day 2 away. I'm still in the midst of doing the Tsubasa trailer; just recorded the raw footage. Don't expect something too HD. I blame myself for not affording enough $$$ for a PVR to connect my PSP to; as I'm reluctant to use remote joy, considering the probability of me losing all my data and CFW content.

get a game recorder, it records or uses an av cable like thing to usb to play on a pc. I'm not sure what it is called but ill check.

It aint hd so... yeah.

I'm using a PSP cable and a game recorder usb gadget by AV labs... almost the same thing only has more output options... but it still doesn't change the fact that it only gives it's best potential when 1/4 of the PC/laptop screen is full... anything expanded beyond it just... meh... you get the drill.

Does it work on CRT / Normal TV?

Because my PSP to TV cable only outputs to stretched out 16:9 or 4:3 non-hd.
And looks extremely pixellated, which only works on HD tvs, on a standard S-uh i mean YellowRedWhite cable.

I havn't played street supremacy or even any racing games on psp. my one had a cracked big dead pixels so i only use it with limited visuals to play purely music.

*A friend sat on my bag and broke the psp, luls, the price for replacing the screen is same price as a preowned psp so u know what i'm going to do* get a 3rd psp.

The 2nd cracked.
Lets hope the 3rd dont do a thing. but i rather a vita.

On TV - it looks amazing... only you can't full screen it (aside from regular videos/non-game files) there's a huge black border but no matter how big, the quality isn't compromised.

On PC/Laptop - strictly only to that 1/4 of the screen rule. Stretching it, even if recorded on 640 X 480 and you zoom past the black border, it ruins it.

And get Street Supremacy, replay angles are a force to reckon with, meaning... it's so good.

And the downside is that the only rival that can give you a run for your money is the Driver with no name / Akio Asakura / Devil Z with gradient flames. Has good features too such as team battle, etc. etc.

But it has the 86's aero Kit that Rin needs...

Though bad at HD output... I'll still use it...

If they ever make, a port of ID5 or 6AA on ps3, with all those camera angle replays, its going to be a big stunner.

Because right now im tuning and grinding to maximise my R32 physically albeit limited options on ID Extreme stage for ps3.

I would rather use ID street stage for ps2 as a battle movie concept but as replay and edits, but most likely not due to me not having such a game...... yet.

although i am tempted to tune ID5 cars and record my TA replays at game entry screens at the arcade... it would be too much for myself to ask, but have you seen the angles used for the camera in that game replays>? ITS FRIGGIN GOOD. better than ID4 'action style'

Anyway, I'd explain away then...including Oniko and Ryugu's conversation.

[Please don't ever change, Tsu-Chan] : This is said by Rei, when she's having a casual chat with Tsubasa when he's saying that he might someday change after racing Seiji and Kujira again in the future, possibly even making him wanting to go outside of Hachioji to see a wider world. Rei supported his decisions of whatever choice he may make and told him to continue being himself.

[The Road of No Return] : This was said by Shino when Tsubasa asked her about going outside the wider world to experience racing further than just Hachioji and Kanagawa alone. Shino mentioned something about a path that might made Tsubasa end up no longer being able to return to what he may be right now...and if that ever happens, Shino will do one final favor for Tsubasa's 86 before his journey commence once he's done racing everyone he's got a rivalry against, particularly Kujira and Seiji.

[Dream is nothing more than an induction of life] : Oniko said that having dreams is like seeing a vision of what a person is going to be if he ever choose to pursue it. However, Tsubasa is still somewhat doubtful of whether he should continue to pursuit the vision he saw in his dream, which is to race many unnamed racers in his eyes, one of them including blue R34 with a Nismo bodykit...Tomo's R34...but Tsubasa doesn't know Tomogashi just yet in person, just referred him as the Blue R34.

[You chase someone without realizing what or who is he might be looking at...is it worth it?] : Oniko continued to describe the probably lack of worth in chasing Seiji towards Tsubasa as he himself doesn't even have quite a clear view of what Seiji might be looking for or why he race. That's also when Oniko spoke something that triggered Tsubasa's perception towards Seiji and Kujira as something meaningful (Here's where your script-editing skills come into play, Gunma 34!)

[Thank you for helping us out with the homework!] : Ryugu spoke this to Tsubasa when she, Rei and Mion are having trouble with some difficult study subjects while Tsubasa helped them out a bit at Ryugu's house. They also chat a bit of rumored racers around the Wangan, one including Takumi Takashi, whom seemed to be acquainted with Seiji in some way, but all of them were unsure of what connections Takumi and Seiji might have.

[What type of person is Tsubasa really...?] : Seiji tried to get some information about who Tsubasa is exactly when he's having a rare chat with Kujira, someone whom Seiji believed to be a lifelong rival of, as Seiji is beginning to have interest towards Tsubasa after racing his AE86.

[27-009] and [Guess I have some catching up to do...!] : Chizuru is on her way to cruise at the Wangansen as she tried to see if there are any active racers out there that can give her a challenge after being idle for a long time at the hospital. Her luck was rather bad, seeing as there are many random racers whom got scared after seeing her XJ220 travelling at such high speed...until she found an unexpected encounter with Midnight Cinderella....and she decided to try and race her after Chizuru sensed something different from her.

[All of us are gonna root for tonight's battle too, senpai!] : Rei shouted these words enthusiastically as she continued to cheered on while riding inside Ryugu's JZA70 as she decides to followed Tsubasa, Seiji and Kujira from behind to be an observer, trying to catch up to all 3 of them at once, despite her car being a little overweighted with Mion and Rei sitting inside her car.

[What do you think, Yamazaki? Think he's good? Kinda reminds you of "him"?] : Naoko said these words after she witnessed the battle between Seiji, Tsubasa and Kujira. Naoko was somewhat impressed by Tsubasa's performance and she asked Raymond's opinion about him, and see whether it reminds him of Tomo or not. Raymond responded that despite Tomo's hatred of being compared by others, he admitted that Tsubasa is in a way; somewhat familiar with Tomo...but something is still very different between them, which he still hasn't explained what it is yet.

Ryugu and Oniko's conversation: Ryugu said that after witnessing such a battle between 3 of them last night, she tried to ask what Oniko saw when she's quietly following behind JZA70 from afar while watching the battle going on. Oniko; responded by saying that she can see a lot of purple light from far distance (which was indicating all 3 of them posessing similar aura of a dangerous driver that no longer feared death.)

Ryugu herself was rather pleased with Tsubasa's progress and wanted to help him out on doing a bit of setting by messing with Tsubasa's AE86's body and gear ratio to help him even out the Lan Evo and R32's massive power advantage. Ryugu also mentioned about the rumored appearance of a few 13 Devil Members suspected to be roaming around Wangan highway when she's cruising freely during midnight alone using her Supra. One of them suspected to be the Dejected Angel...while another suspected to be Jintei, from the engine sound she heard through her windows. Ryugu's "Soundwave" hearing gave her a rather ominous feeling that something greater than 13 Devils might be lurking somewhere...

Oniko also sensed something of the 13 Devils as she also believe that they might appear if Ryugu's sound-hearing was correct. Fearing that they may pose a problem to Tsubasa, Ryugu planned to scout around Wangansen regularly to make sure they don't cause any troubles that might hinder Tsubasa's big race in the future. Oniko however, failed to sense anything about the greater force that Ryugu mentioned earlier though...

So there you have it.

Do you have GT5 by any chance as well? I'm in need of an XJ220 (normal one) so I can make Chizuru's XJ.

I know the back-up-your-cars-you-plan-to-gift secret so If anyone here wishes to cooperate and make the race videos in advance, I can easily gift the cars (once a day, or 1 to every multiple users/players) and still have a copy to myself.

This would mean However Tsubasa's gonna have to revert his Ae86 body to its stock form with a GT wing and lowered suspension and adjust the tuning so it would go side by side with Seiji's Evo & Kujira's R32 (that both top out at 300km/h constant with no slipstreaming)

So Tsubasa's AE86's gonna have a GT-Wing instead of his body kit huh...well, I guess it's alright, since Tsubasa's 86 are bound to be messed around a lot by his friends whom know a lot of tuning to help him maximize his potential...and not to mention Shino's actually rather cool about other tuners tuning the 86 for Tsubasa and let him experience different setting to adjust his driving himself without her teaching too much.

So it's a win-win situation~

As for Jintei, well...if you can manage to do it, then it's all good. Thing is, I just want to at least have 1-2 13 Devil members to appear in this story, I was thinking Midnight Rose, but I am not sure if you'd be cool with that or not in exchange of Jintei/Dejected Angel...

Oh, one more thing; Ryugu drives a black JZA70. Hence, her nickname; "Blackened Soundwave"
