Now you'd probably wonder; why is it called the Doll House...it really felt like Chiaki is talking about many generic racers and compared them with racers with motivation like a puppet built with a purpose while another is merely for entertainment and self-satisfaction...that sort of comparison.
Anyway...I think Chiaki's first race is gonna happen soon at Day 2 itself near the end...encountering Seiji for the very first time...now then...I'd try and leave this to you again with the opening scene for this battle that could very well FOREVER shift Seiji's perception in his racing life....
Try and make a scene again with your opening sequence in the starting point...it really helped me a lot to put a scene well with your beginning point.

oh, and !mma_N00B, what are your camera settings where you get a crisp clean pic of the car without making the car blur and still keep the wheels in action/blurry along with the rest of the background?
[ Post merged on Jan 16 2012, 06:44 AM ] EDIT: Or... at least 1 or 2 traffic cars that Katerina passes (get someone to use a pick up and a sedan and blast by them then take a pic)

Oh F*ck yeah on the kitana R35... and That S7 is scary looking down SSR7/Wangan; in a good way; do you know what would make that pic more epic?
TRAFFIC CARS AROUND IT!
Thanks for the suggestion and I'd oblige the suggestion fully seing as even I have to agree 100% with Kuroi's choice.
Anyway, mind giving an OP script of Seiji vs Chiaki for the very first time ever?
Your OP is what ignites the flow of a battle well...and I really want to experience that again.
Nothing too dramatic of course; but just an encounter that will eventually shook Seiji once the battle ignites; signifying as if there's something totally different from others while racing the CTR2.
And I think the scene dialogue before the battle begins is after at some point; Seiji seemed rather annoyed/fed up with Takumi's obnoxious attitude while driving the Evo with him along.
@!mma_N00B
Damn...that thing could really even up with Chiaki's Valkyrie Porsche (her CTR2 more technically) easily and it could really make something incredible such as a "trading blows" or trading position constantly. I'd love to see that.

That's one scary looking car... o__o;
Anyway...for the Replica lyrics; here it is.
Stalling quiet down my silence searching that we’ve done? Stalling quiet down my silence searching that we’ve done... Stalling quiet down my silence Searching for calm...
Found my own destiny out there Can’t you be calm? Love is broken knitted thought a love remade Cheating, stole it, I don’t know Buried, the comatose flower so are growing there Buried it there my good son So much to shine over Like a show that never star A shamed one will change Fool got you the nothing A shamed one will change Fool got you the nothing Stalling quiet down my silence searching that we’ve done... I just done all my life... all my life all my life all my life You should know You should know I should know Should know My Self... My Self... My Self... How much would I know My Self... My Self... My Self... Stalling quiet down my silence searching that we’ve done? Stalling quiet down my silence searching that we’ve done? Searching for calm... ehhhhh.... A shamed one will change A shamed one will change A shamed one will change Fool got you the nothing Fool got you the nothing...

I zoom in to the car, press square to auto-focus, zoom out and try to get my desired angle. And then I change the panning mode to mode 3. Mode 2 is also good enough for a shot like this too.
And the Saleen should let Katerina go "I've got the power!" (see what I did there )
--------------------------
I was thinking of Shino visiting Katerina in her home, and since they're both fond of firearms (even though Shino's character sheet only said "shotguns"), they could get a good conversation.
SPOILER
Setting: Katerina's large home in Tokyo *Shino explains stuff about her shotgun and her enthusiasm with it* Shino: ... and that's why I got myself a shotgun. Katerina: What model is it? Shino: some pump-action shotgun made by Remington, with a chrome finish and a wooden stock. [Rin, you may have to edit this portion with how you want her shotgun to look like] Katerina: An American-made shotgun I see. Remington 870 perhaps? Shino: I actually don't know, since I never bothered to peek at its model name and all that. Speaking of which, do you have a collection of guns too? Katerina: Sure, why? Shino: I want to see for myself how avid of guns you are. Katerina: Come with me please, maybe you can take a look at my pride and joy. They're all deactivated too since I'm keeping them for collection.
Setting: Katerina's home, "collection" room Katerina: Oh, sorry but I forgot to tell you that the other ones are left in Russia; I only brought these with me since I have to live here in Japan with my mother Shino: It's okay, to my eyes you've got a lot of them there. *Katerina explains the details of each gun Shino is curious about, like this:* Shino: What's that small gun over there? Katerina: Oh, that? It is the "Pistolet Makarova", or the Makarov pistol. It is semi-automatic like most handguns and fires 9x18mm rounds, a little smaller than the standard 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge used in pistols such as the Beretta M9. It served the Soviet Army from 1951 to 1991. The magazine used in here contains 8 rounds, but it can utilize 10-round and 12-round magazines. Shino: Looks cute. Katerina: It's quite an all-rounder for me. But the thing is, other handguns have a better magazine size so yeah. Shino: *walks to the AK-47* Is this... an AK-47? Katerina: Yes, it is, Shino-san. Fully automatic, uses the 7.62x39mm M43 cartridge, and even though it's a common sight everywhere, that one has a story behind it. Shino: What's this "story" you're talking about? Does it have to do with the pictures of different men holding AK-47's that's beside it? Katerina: Those men... were part of my grandfather's squad, and my grandfather was the commander. World War II broke out and Russia was struggling to fend off the Nazis. There was a German tank with someone manning the machine gun blocking the way and each soldier of the Soviet army was shot down, one-by-one. It was my grandfather who was able to kill him and clear the way, but because of the Nazi's overwhelming strength, his squad was outnumbered. There were enemies at every direction, but despite that, he ran down the battlefield bravely, shooting down every enemy with the precision of a marksman. He, along with his comrades, cleared the way and bought the rest of the Soviet Army some time, when all of a sudden, he was shot in the back. He managed to kill the one who shot him but his injury won't let him travel any further so he was sent to the war nurses as soon as possible. It's such a sad moment for them, since he was suffering, and eventually he passed out. He left my father his rifle, his necklace, and any other stuff you see beside that AK-47 as a remembrance. Shino: Wow... what a touching story. I feel sorry for your grandfather to be honest. Katerina: Indeed... he was such a courageous man. Shino: Do you have any self-defense weapons like the shotgun I've told you earlier? Katerina: *walks to a picture frame and removes it* I kept them in this vault. Nobody else should get their hands on usable weapons so I hid them in a safe place. *enters password on the vault and opens it* Shino: ... another handgun? And some weird-looking gun? Katerina: The handgun's a Glock 18. It's the fully-automatic version. Fires the standard 9mm Parabellum rounds. I love it since its fully automatic fire could pack a punch from a relatively compact firearm. Shino: And how about the other one? Katerina: It's a Fabrique Nationale P90, a submachinegun made in Belgium. Fires a special 5.7x28mm cartridge that's pretty tiny but can pierce through armor with its sharp tip. The magazine's loaded on the top of the firing mechanism, hence its unusual design. The magazine contains an outstanding 50 rounds, compared to the usual 30 of other submachineguns. Shino: Interesting... Never seen anything like it. *Katerina's iPhone rings, ringtone is Pendulum - The Island (Madeon Remix)* <insert an emergency scene here that is happening to one of the Hachioji characters on the Wangan, and then Katerina decides to help them out> Katerina: Shino-san, would it be okay if we'll have a ride down Wangan for once? Shino: Why? Katerina: Something's happening.
That conversation should reveal something interesting about Katerina's family background and such.

Very interesting indeed...
...but I wonder what's happening at this point where even a retired driver like Shino had to show up...hmm...
.... errr that's just from my mind, never knew Shino was retired or something. Besides, it only ended at taht point, so yeah Shino can refuse and head somewhere else. It's merely a rough draft, please understand
And here are the planned specs of Katerina's S7:
Power: 750 HP Torque: 700 lbft Weight: 1250 kg Top Speed: 399 km/h Engine: Ford 427, 7.0 L twin-turbocharged V8 Transmission: 6-speed stock
Before you ask, Katerina keeps all of these in check through a boost controller. She tones the power down so that her car would reach around 340 km/h but when needed, she turns the boost up.

Do remember that she has over a decade of driving experience already and is already endering her 30s, but I know that was a bit early to retire still...she just seemed to have lost interest in what the "kiddies" around Wangan or even her own turf Kanagawa Prefecture touges; Nagao and Tsubaki Line are up to.
But I MIGHT think of something that could at least move this early-mid aged elder sister of Tsubasa to see something worth her time..... ;P

Considering the fact that Katerina's S7 is as IMBA as Chizuru's XJ220; for the sake of replay making-comfort, leave it at stock; but in dialogues; yeah we can expose that point out (that it is around 700+ hp) but for GT5, leave it at stock HP; just do up drivetrain like what I did with the XJ.
Rin, I'll work on the Chiaki VS Seiji dialogue maybe tomorrow after work; unless you provide me with the script (of the fillers and just describe the battle for me so I can fill it in with the conversations during battle)
Oh, do make your share as well with interested ones willing to voice act for Hachioji; get mostly females to join in considering the fact that our Female cast is equal/overpowers the male cast in Hachioji.
If they ask what they need; it's just a mic; and download Audacity off the internet for voice recording. Their audio files must sound clear and almost no static / background noise with their audio files.

I am already sharing this with my friends; but a lot of them lack confidence and are already too preoccupied with their RL stuffs. so I can't really help you on the VA part...sorry.
But anyway, all I ask was merely an OP script for Chiaki vs Seiji dialogue since it's kinda like the same OP you did for the Day 1's beginning. Like I said; before the battle actually happens, Seiji was at some point feeling annoyed by Takumi's attitude and started thinking whether it's really okay to stay with him on his oncoming days as a racer and started to doubt his path further and keep thinking of what Kujira once told him before after defeating him on the 2nd battle.
But of course; I'd definitely try and work my way through the Day 2 Script...since I am already starting it.
You can add as many additional scenes as you want too. So I kinda left a number of free spaces there for your scenes when necessary.

Err that will do as well.
Uptate 2.03 is just out!
I will do some self-photoshoots once Route X is out, which will happen tomorrow. For now, drool at these:
Photo set B done. Seiji was apparently playing around with Naoko
I'm gonna dupe something special to the following PSN usernames/GTP people for volunteering: Onboy123/Onboy123 (drove as Abolished clan GRB and Raymond) GTP_Michelin9960/NascarManiaco99 (drove as Abolished clan CZ4A and Seiji) Huskyfluff/Dragonthing (drove as Midnight Cinderella) V16T91/C-ZETA (drove as Abolished clan Z34)

!mma_N00B: waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnttttt!!! TELL ME HOW TO SETUP BANK ACCOUNT FOR PSN! DO THEY TAKE DEBIT CARDS/SAVINGS ACCOUNTS?
Well you should buy a PSN card first. Find one in a videogame store near you. You might as well use your debit card to buy that PSN card, not use it directly on PSN
Once you have bought the PSN card, take off the card from the cardboard and use the code to load up your wallet. Then you have online $$ to spend on DLC and voila!

Oh, and while I am doing the coloring which was almost done, I am also making a conversation between Seiji and Chiaki after their very first encounter. I've decided that Chiaki will make her official debut on Day 2 since she already had made quite an appearance on the Motivation conversation. ;P
Take note on this; Gunma...Chiaki's going to explain as to why exactly Tsubasa's AE86 is considered a Ghost 86 and this could also very well FOREVER shift Seiji's view towards racing with a motivation and determination at heart.

Rin, good enough for a lengthy spoiler.
As for me; I'm slowly starting on Viaggio Grande; but first let me update the Speed Legend Z Thread on this same forum.
[ Post merged on Jan 17 2012, 05:16 AM ] Update: Updated Speed Legend S with the first chapter of Speed Legend Z: Round Argentina.
[ Post merged on Jan 17 2012, 05:17 AM ] and !mma_N00B, I wonder if GT5 can accept petitions of a new course: AUTODROMO Y OSCAR GALVEZ, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
