oh, I didn't add this info yet about Takumi...
He loves to make false accusations and fake stories.
Example (par to RL Takumi) He says Midnight Cinderella is a well respected Wangan Racer who loves to push her opponent hard and talks a lot and dominates Yokohane most of all.
Pfft... the True M.C. in TXR zero & 3 races at Wangan Line & on my story races from Wangan to C1 & New Belt line / Shinkanjyo.
All I could say was: .____. (poker face)
Heh...I wonder what kind of excuse he's gonna say when he raced Tsubasa after his AE86 is fixed and he raced him somehow on Day 3 or 4...
Anyway...any suggestions on scenarios that could at least make Mion get a car somehow? Raymond can help her perhaps? Since I know it's never possible to catch up with others when in a big car like that HIACE... :/

If a car, we should hook her up with a B-class car. Safe enough to drive everyday without any compromise but performs on top enough to at least keep up on the Wangan line (like 270-285 km/h top speed or so) Must be highly rigid for safety since Mion is not a racer... is she?

Mion knows a good deal of mechanics; since she's one of the top grade scorers in school, too bad she drives with lot of hesitations and doubts; since she still has a fear of high speeds...practically going over 240 km/h alone is enough to send her screaming and crying. xD
But in the last battle; she'd begin to show more courage...and will push just as hard as any regular racers with potential.
So just pick any car you think that is suited for Mion.

well we had too much of a great deal with 4WDs to our dismay (I was hoping to pick a Subaru Legacy for her)
Probably a good, safe car for her with enough power to boot would either be:
NISSAN S15 Silvia Spec R Aero HONDA INTEGRA TYPE R DC5 HONDA CIVIC TYPE R EU 4-DOOR
The DC5 then.
I've always liked the car's stability when I was playing TXRD2 that time...LOL
I think it should be fine for Mion...
Anyway, thought of any headlines for the magazine cover yet? I need to try and type them out myself since I feel quite interested in doing magazine shots all of the sudden. xD
I'd need your words before I input them at CS3 and edit them to look nice and publish-worthy.

Ah...I always thought he was someone else...since my Daiki Akiyama shot was more boyish looking...but I'd correct it the next time I draw him again when I had a chance.
4 greatest male aces in Speed Legend all stand in one shot...now that's epic.
Now only one spot for Tsubasa Aramaki...but since he'll be a Stand Alone Individual on the time he met Tomogashi...he'll only have a seperate shot of himself alone...or if you prefer; maybe 5 at once in the future shot?
Also; since these 4's combined theme is this one...
Lyrics (considering they're kinda meaningful towards Tsubasa's personality in the future...)
Разгон (Acceleration), Полёт (Flight), Прыжок (Jump), Расчёт падения (calculation of a Fall) Обо всём я знала наперёд (I knew about everything beforehand) Верила,что разбиваю хрупкий лед (I believe I am breaking fragile ice) Для чего? (What for?)
It's a real illusion
Найти, чтобы потерять (To find in order to lose,) Упасть, чтобы подняться (To fall in order to stand up,) Остывая, возгораться (To ignite by cooling down.) Открыть в себе себя (To find myself in oneself) И края не боятся (And not fear the edge.) Погибая, возрождаться!! (To be reborn by perishing!!)
Один (One Swallow) Глоток (has open up a stream) Открыл (Of Doubts) Поток сомнений (The New World) Знаю ли, прав тот ли, кто не лгал (Do I know? Is the one who didn't lie right?) Кто мудрец (Who is the wise man) А кто себя им выдавал (Who delivered himself to them?) Для чего? (What for?)
It's a real illusion
Для чего? (What for?)
It's a real illusion
Найти, чтобы потерять (To find in order to lose) Упасть,чтобы подняться (To fall in order to stand up) Остывая, возгораться (To ignite by cooling down) Открыть в себе себя (To Find myself in oneself) И края не бояться (and not fear the edge.) Погибая, возрождаться (To be reborn by perishing) В новый мир (To the new world)

awesome update on Tsubasa.
What happened to my Kasumi???? :'(
Kazuhiko's headlines for JTTed.
Headline (lower right, big font) "FOREVER YOUNG" Young Gun from Hachioji, Tsubasa Aramaki debuts and represents his city for the upcoming Youth's gathering of Kanagawa's Mini GP.
side story, (far left, near center) Tsuchiya Seiji, descendant of the Drift King?
Tuner's Insider (low upper right side) S130 Fairlady tuning A golden age favorite. Pro tuners give tips on how to preserve and enhance its power.
Background behind Tsubasa: His AE86 next to Seiji's Evo IX.

Very beautiful choice of colors, Rin. <3
I also look forward to how the magazine will turn out...
Anyway, I will wait patiently for the dialogue part. Looks pretty fun; considering that I am curious on what type of damage has the Ghost 86 suffered after losing to the battle against Seiji...

Next art for me:
Planning to recycle the heroes pic and just get Seiji... with Silhouettes of Dead Zone and Ghost 86 around him with his EVO IX in all its glory as its background. Waddya think?

Don't worry; I am already experimenting on her while messing with her hairstyle and clothing style that matches Luka's.
I am also busy trying to find the right dark goth/loli clothing to match Oniko's, since they're both polar opposites of each other; just like Tomogashi and Tsubasa in general. :3
Anyway...I'd try my best. Thanks for the headlines.
Note: Never thought he'd be representing the entire Hachioji...considering how little racers are known in the place. ;P
I am sure the guys from Tokyo are gonna laugh at him at his first debut...without knowing just what will hit them later. xDD
But until then...I'd leave the writing of the original SL to you since I cannot touch the SSS Tsubasa yet...until I am done with Tsuchiya Chronicles.
@Gunma
THAT'LL BE AWESOME!!! DO ETTTTT!!!!!!!!!

Wow...so will we get to see Rin's car drawings again on the magazine cover? That'll be awesome!
But considering the modifications done to both Ghost 86 and Seiji's Evo IX in the end...without resources it might be tough for him...
Still...I wonder how will it fit to this canvas Rin's using...it seems to have taken up all the space for the picture itself to have any part of the cars shown visible.
Perhaps Rin; are you aiming for a similar shot like Seiji's magazine cover on the Episode 2 of SL?

Truth to be told...yeah, I was actually aiming for the simple magazine cover like Seiji's. xD
But I guess adding a bit more effort on this one ought to make a great change. :3
Still you got a point about the canvas thingy...I'd see what I can do to make it fit...considering I need to draw 2 cars...a road...and some simple buildings with seagulls and birds flying across the sunset sky...
I know it sounds kinda absurd...but this is the level of detail I am trying to aim here... At least just a bit...

The AYC made it feel more GT-R-ish; which may be a good thing. It acts like a true ETS System where upon drifting; pressing the gas on full, corrects the position and returns the car to its standard position (not on a drift angle or so) and reduces tire friction.
Well, that is what happened on my current setup; I'm sure !mma_N00B can make something better which makes it feel more FR-ish at the very-least (for better cornering ability)

Keep in mind the length of your scripts as remember, you're doing the art for the Hachioji series; !mma_N00B and I on gameplay; and all on recruitment/encouraging people to voice act these characters (I'll voice Seiji so he's out of the VA's-wanted-list)

Yeah...I know...the length of the script itself is already around 9000 words long... @_@
I still couldn't get much on the VA recruitment part since NO ONE seemed to be interested at all...and they're starting to think I am annoying. -.-;

@Kuroi, the final settings for the Evo IX & AE86 would be (by exterior)
Seiji Tsuchiya's Evo IX:
Active Red / CF-standard EVO hood / Volk CE28 bronze / Dual-level GT Wing 2D / Titanium Racing Exhaust / Evo IX FQ-400 Front Lip & colored Dry-carbon side & rear extensions.
Tsubasa AE86 Trueno: (2 options as the final decision is on the scriptwriting) option A: (white panda ) High-tech two tone / CF Hood with lightweight headlights / Volk TE37s Black / revert to stock aero
option B: (retained black) custom black 2-tone / CF Hood coloured, dry plate / Yokohama AVS T6 Dark silver / revert to stock aero / GT Wing 2D
[ Post merged on Jan 20 2012, 07:01 AM ] @Rin,
Try showing them the previous works, your art together; that might change their mind. Tell them that They're not professionals and they still came out with this awesome outcome.
@!mma_N00B,
I'm planning on asking them out as well; but that'll come true once I finish Viaggio Grande recruiting (I'm still short on male VAs)

Thanks for providing the info...I'd see which one I go for when I got more time on doing the magazine shot.
Anyway...here's the conversation of Chiaki and Tsubasa's reunion...like I promised.
This is continued after Chiaki's talk of philosophy with her CEO...so expect something a little tiny bit more to be known regarding about the CEO person.
SPOILER
Miyazaki: I don’t know…I don’t really feel like racing anyone yet at the moment…but I’d try and see for tonight…after all; there might be a chance that the driver that defeated the AE86 could be very well the childhood friend of mine…the Ghost 86… CEO: Ghost 86…? I heard of Truenos and Levins but never Ghosts…is it a nickname of some sort for another great racer like him? Miyazaki: …*chuckles* Wouldn’t you like to find out…? *soon Miyazaki heard a familiar engine sound roared from the building outside* Miyazaki: …!! *gasp* That…that engine sound…don’t tell me it’s…! CEO: Oh…? Who could that be? *both glanced at the outside and saw the black AE86…the Ghost 86* Miyazaki: *smiled happily* …well, guess what! It’s the “Speak of the Devil”...! Let’s visit him, shall we? CEO: Well…sure; seeing as we’re free and all…and there are currently no customers here… *camera switches outside, Miyazaki walked outside and saw Tsubasa waiting at the main door* Miyazaki: …It’s really you…Tsubasa…! *camera switches to Tsubasa as he waved casually* Tsubasa: Yo, been a year hasn’t it, Chiaki? *Chiaki walked quickly and hugged Tsubasa* Chiaki: Yes…indeed…! I missed you so much…Tsubasa…you really came back as you promised…! Tsubasa: Well…I did say that I can always find you whenever I want since I am clear of what place you’d like to go…our friendship didn’t preserved till this far without having me knowing you too well after all… Chiaki: Yeah…and thinking this again; I really am sorry too for not being able to visit you…since…as you can see now; I am a sales manager assistant in this shop…haha! Anyway, allow me to introduce, Mr. CEO…this is my childhood friend: Aramaki Tsubasa…the Ghost 86 driver. And Tsubasa; this is my CEO, Mr. Wilhelm Wiedeking, the current CEO of this dealer shop in Japan. Wilhelm: Pleased to meet you, Mr. Aramaki. Miss Miyazaki keep telling me about you…and it’s definitely a pleasure to have finally met you in person. *Tsubasa and Wilhelm shook hands* Tsubasa: Well…really? I guess Chiaki’s definitely doing her homework well with keeping our memories together worth of being a story then…haha…pleased to meet you, Wiedeking-san. Wilhelm: You really are very young looking indeed…just like Miss Miyazaki described…yet your driving is good enough for you to earn the nickname Ghost 86…it sure is rare…considering the car you’re driving and all… Chiaki: Haha…well; 86s are meant to train a driver after all…so it’s no surprise that certain drivers will be dedicated enough to master the car. Speaking of cars; what brings you here today, Tsubasa? I am free now so if you wish to do some catch-up talk; I am all for it at the office…would you like some tea? Tsubasa: Nah…sorry…but I think we can save the catch-up talk for another time…but it really is glad that I can see you once again…after being separated for almost 1 year… Chiaki: Ah…so you came here for other business too huh? It’s alright…I can understand. Anyway, so what business do you have here? Tsubasa: Chiaki, I’d like you to inspect my Eight Six. Would that be alright for you? Chiaki: …!! *Chiaki startled a little bit; feeling surprised* Wilhelm: So you wanted a car inspection huh…? Well; couldn’t you have done that in a garage or something? This is a dealer shop if you haven’t notice…haha… Chiaki: No…sir. Actually compared to regular tuners from normal garages; Tsubasa’s Ghost 86 is better off being inspected by me…since I’ve once tuned his 86 too…at least this is the second time I manage to see the insides of the Trueno once more… Tsubasa: So you will do it? Chiaki: Without a second thought…that’s for sure…so go and park the car at the garage near this building, Tsubasa. I’d get the tools ready for you in an instant. Just give me a few minutes. Sir, are you coming too? Wilhelm: No…I think it’s better if I take over your office now for the time being…since now that you’re leaving, there’s no one at the office and it’s still business hour after all…so go on ahead. I’d take over your position for the time being. Chiaki: Thank you sir…! Tsubasa: Sorry Wiedeking-san…I’d be sure to somehow repay you for lending me Chiaki for the time being. *Tsubasa and Chiaki moved to their own cars and started driving away from the parking lot near the dealer shop’s area.* Wilhelm: Hmm…it’s been nearly too long since I’ve seen Miyazaki’s cheerful face…she seems so much more lively now that the boy Aramaki is back to see her…after nearly one year…guess there comes another interesting thing worth talking about again…huh huh… *camera switches into a garage nearby the Porsche dealer shop, soon towards Tsubasa’s Ghost 86 with its front opened* *Chiaki is seen without her coat as she rolled up her formal shirt’s sleeves, then she slowly turned her attention and watched the AE86’s insides* Chiaki: …Hmm…I just wanna ask; Tsubasa…how long was the last time you overhauled this car? Tsubasa: I can’t really recall…about 2 years ago I think? Chiaki: …EH!? 2 years? That’s way too long for a racer to keep pushing their cars without proper maintenance at all, and this is an Eight Six we’re talking about…you really should at least take good care of your own car more…Tsubasa…especially considering a part of you is with this car too…just look at the internal of the car… Tsubasa: Whoa…almost everything except the engine is pitch black…*cough* and there are still some burnt smell and smokes…hoooo…!! *flips the smokes away* Chiaki: Just as you seen, everything’s overheated to the point of burning to almost a crisp…heck…even the ECU computer is starting to fry up…you pushed your car way too much…Tsubasa…try and consider your car’s spec limits sometimes. It is true that this car carries your “Ghost”, but if the parts of the machine itself cannot handle it; this car’s still useless in any tough battles. Tsubasa: I know…sorry if I am troubling you for this…but I keep hearing the instincts inside me…or rather from the machine itself that keeps telling me that the car can still run…despite the damage done…even I can feel the rigidity of the car’s whole body is already wearing down to this point…just look at it. Chiaki: Yeah…the body’s already badly warped…since this car was never meant to travel so fast for such a long period of time… Tsubasa: Think it can be done in a short time? Because I feel like the car’s already literally urging me to quickly fix it so we can both run together again at the Wangan… Chiaki: Don’t worry…I’d see what I can do for the 86’s internal parts…for the body; I fear you’d have to look somewhere else…since I only have parts of body reinforce here that is suited for Porsches… Tsubasa: I see. Alright then; I’d look somewhere else for the body repairs. I’d be counting on you for the internal repairs and overhaul, Chiaki. Thanks for everything. Chiaki: No problem…say; you lost to a red Evo, right? Is it the rumored Wangan God by any chance? Do you know of this person before? Tsubasa: No…who’s that? Is it some famous celebrity on motorsports? I don’t watch too much TV lately nor do I read many auto magazines either… Chiaki: Well…it’s most likely him that defeated you; the Wangan God…Tsuchiya Seiji. Tsubasa: Tsuchiya Seiji…? Tsuchiya…is he the son of THAT Drift King? Chiaki: Of course not… (break sweat)… well; he’s literally an undefeated legendary runner at the Wangan Line that has been dominating the roads at Shutoku area for quite a long time being. A lone racer…who’s highly skilled in driving Evos…it could very well be Seiji that defeated you that time….if it’s him; then it can’t be helped…considering the car difference… Tsubasa: Yeah…I guess it’s most likely him…since his driving was so different from other Evo drivers I met before…I gave my all to the 86 and it can only managed to prevent us from being dusted any further after a 10 second gap…even using my “Ghost” consciousness and my own will, I failed to catch up at all…that’s when I notice that I need to repair and at least do an overhaul for the car itself…seeing as I always push it so hard… Chiaki: Don’t worry…I’d do everything I can to make sure your Ghost 86 is able to run further and further…until it broke another set of limits beyond this machine’s capacity…remember…your “Ghost” is what keeps removing the limits that is set originally on this one ordinary car…now this car’s every movement and sound is going to respond directly from how you act on your car in the seat with you holding the wheels. I’d make sure this car is able to produce even more power than it does before and it’ll become even longer lasting…I’d make it so strong to the point where it will not harm the internals no matter how hard you push the accelerator…so you can just keep increasing your pace endlessly. Tsubasa: A set of limited repairs and few modifications on the internals to turn it into a car with endless potential huh…I like it. Alright then…I’d stay in this area for the meantime while waiting for the car to be fixed…so I can go and look for another garage to fix the body after you done your part. Until the time you’re done working on the car for today; we’ll have a catch-up talk; how about it? Chiaki: Sounds good to me. Anyway, let’s get started…turn the computers on, will you? Tsubasa: Alright then. *camera fades to black as sounds of tools picked up from a box can be heard*
[ Post merged on Jan 20 2012, 07:06 AM ] Actually; I have shown them my works regarding this project...but for some reason...they still don't feel like doing it...simply saying this:
"Are we getting paid for this? If not; then don't bother wasting our time...love your works; but it really just not worth our time...since we can't get any benifits out of it."
...and I finally spoke the forbidden words; they still keep thinking that they should get paid for doing voice acting on a NON-PROFIT project like this one...*facepalm*
