QUOTE (Gunma's 34 @ 1 hour, 49 minutes ago) | !mma_N00B, have you checked the scripts out? I was wondering if we could; with help from other players (who can pose as traffic cars) to do some of the scenes that are listed on the script; mostly the race scenes and the cruises, if that's alright.
I'll list them down:
Day 1:- Seiji VS Kujira (proposed area: SSR5 Reverse) - condition: Seiji chases the R32. Seiji pulls back / stops at the final checkpoint of lap 2.
- Tsubasa AE86 (black) VS Seiji (Proposed area: SSR5 Normal) Condition: Seiji leads; Tsubasa has a big gap to cover. And will only catch up at the very least. Tsubasa will pull back on lap 2's straight; heading for the pit lane.
- Kujira VS Seiji (re-run; proposed track: SSR7 1 lap) Condition: R32 chases from behind, from a large gap after the overpass U-turn. Upon reaching the high-speed S-curves; Kujira puts lots of pressure on Seiji / does close-in overtaking almost making contact. After 2nd S-curve (after tunnel), Kujira turns on hi-beams and slows down. Seiji follows.
Day 2:- Test Drive: Hypermax Evo & R35 Yamazaki Demo. (proposed track; Tokyo R246 1-Lap) Condition: R35 Chases. Evo must show signs of understeer and sudden oversteer on tight corners.
- Seiji vs Chiaki (proposed track: SSR7 1) Conditions: Upon starting, go way back to the high speed S-curve after the tunnel and start from there. Seiji leads. Evo must understeer on high-speed S-curve where Chiaki holds the inside. Upon reaching Tsubasa bridge near the end of the lap/near the finish, Chiaki does a blind attack overtake and passes Seiji THEN slows down upon passing the goal. (delay will be long enough to reach the entry to the overpass where the vid would cut automatically)
are these conditions ok? |
Umm okay bro.
But would it be okay without traffic? I can put the hassle away without trying to invite a large crowd...

QUOTE (Gunma's 34 @ Today, 7:22 AM) | well, !mma_N00B; since the PS3 is being sent tomorrow (I just got word of it now; *slams face on desk endlessly*) You'd have to be in charge. I'm just making some 1-player final vids of some characters before this gets given for good and I have to go PS3 hunting.
Rin, I'll try to get it done tomorrow.
[ Post merged on Jan 23 2012, 07:42 AM ] on the other hand, using the Mt. Aso track editor in GT5, I was able to create a small route that I dubbed "Hachioji's route" and made 2 videos featuring Shino's GRB & Tsubasa's AE86. |
Wish you luck on your PS3 hunting... Anyway, I look forward to it...I really am counting on you, Gunma. Since everything started by you always gave me the energy to keep carrying your work further. And a Hachioji Route eh...I suppose that road is where it leads to the Hachioji Residential Area then? ;3 Speaking of which, I think I should go and explain the texts right away. [My Ghost will be able to travel even further]: This is said when Tsubasa finally got his Ghost 86 fixed and once test driven it, he can feel the dramatic increase in both power and body rigidity...would it be alright if I say Raymond installed a special 8-point rollcage for Tsubasa's Ghost 86? Since his old rollcage was pretty worn up and was already used for more than 2 years. LOL Note: Tsubasa relies on his instincts to tell how fast he can go, so his speedometer remained the same factory type while other gauges are changed for a newer version. [Let's go, Kujira!!]: Chizuru yelled these words when she decides that she will choose to sit next to the Dead Zone driver, Kujira during the big battle between Seiji, Tsubasa and Jintei. This will also change into a 4 way battle when Kujira has decided to join the battle along for he too; has something he wants to try testing on his own R. [Lan EVOS are KINGS of the Street, idiot!!]: Takumi said these harsh words when he noticed Tsubasa owning an AE86, he laughed at him and belittled him for his choice of car and his persistence to stick with the old "junker" instead of changing for better cars like Mitsubishi cars. Of course; Tsubasa will not be angered by such provocation for even he knows that Takumi is horribly biased when it comes to sharing his opinions about any cars other than Evos. [I am rather afraid of what will happen if Tsubasa synchronize himself with the newly born Ghost 86]: Chiaki stated these words when she realized that she has made the Ghost 86's power output increased to the point where Tsubasa can really exceed 300 km/h without hurting the car's inside anymore...and with the addition of Raymond's body tuning, it has become an even more menacing and ominous machine that has broken a lot of impossible boundaries. Raymond is also very stoked to see how far can Tsubasa really go with his new tuning done on the Ghost 86 but at the same time; worried that the car might really turn into an entirely different machine, all thanks to the required overhaul, maintenance, and repairs. [The 13 Devils]: This is a sign that Jintei and his other members from the 13 Devils are arriving to the Shutoku Area to claim territory while is currently on hunt for any drivers that are trying to stand in their way. [Something feels so different about him in comparison with Tomogashi...]: A lot of involved Speed Legend original casts are talking on a cafe in regards about Tsubasa's progress and feel that Tsubasa is somewhat very different in comparison with Tomo, yet they cannot tell what is it that made him so different...almost seemed like a polar opposite individual compared to the person mentioned. And they also spoke about the odds of if Tomo and Tsubasa will ever meet on the stage; what chain of events will it lead to... [What the bloody hell! An AE86 pass me?! IMPOSSIBRU!!!](sorry...can't resist... ): This was said by Jintei when he suddenly got tailed by the Ghost 86 from behind all the way until Tsubasa managed to pass him and outrun him easily on their first encounter, humiliating Jintei and set off his anger to its peak, feeling completely insulted by Tsubasa. Jintei at this point swore revenge on Tsubasa's Ghost 86 when they ever clash again in the future...sparking a feud and rivalry between the two. [This is actually a reference from your replay video on Street Surpremacy, Gunma. ] [Seiji...I truly want to see him in person...]: This is said by Tsubasa when he and Kujira had a rare chance to have a friendly chat in regarding about the Dead Zone's curse and of course...Seiji himself and Tsubasa really wanted to get all the info he can get ot meet Seiji in person, hoping that someday he can talk to him and get to know each other better.

at the same time, Chiaki's gonna do up Seiji's Evolution. I think Kujira's R32 is already complete or so... but Rin did mention that Kujira did some of his own changes to the R so that's a given. So far, here are some main battles that we've read already on the scripts and some that we're gonna look forward to: Battles: - Seiji VS Kujira (round 2/R3 aka 'Seiji fights for his life')
- Tsubasa's AE86 VS Takumi (Opening battle) *probability: postponed race?*
- Seiji, Kujira VS Speed King (13 Devils)
- Takumi VS Seiji & Tsubasa *discussed but not in script yet*
- Takumi VS Midnight Cinderella *probability: Takumi loses*
Encounters: - Seiji meets Kujira again
- Tsubasa's encounter with the Wangan God
- Seiji fights for his life VS Kujira
- Seiji and the unknown Black Porsche / RUF
Miscellaneous: - Seiji & Takumi's test run of Takumi's CT230R EVO at Tokyo w/ Raymond
List down some more battles for Rin to know and make out. These are the ones so far. ED Battle: Seiji, Tsubasa & Kujira at Wangan-sen (GT5 battle already done - possible Hachioji ED for final days)

QUOTE (Gunma's 34 @ 8 minutes, 15 seconds ago) |
New upload by EUROLOVERS. Do you think there's a slot for this song in Hachioji? Any particular scene?
[ Post merged on Jan 24 2012, 05:11 AM ] hold on Rin, I'm arranging my priorities. I'm trying to do my last thesis work. I'm sooooooo close to finishing it... IF I WASN'T PROCRASTINATING THIS MUCH. Now that the PS3's out of my hands, I should be able to do more video (Viaggio Grande & Hachioji) progress once this is done...
*slams head on desk countless times*
But yeah; once that last module is done; again which I'm close to completing, Hachioji & Viaggio Grande come next on the list Fo' sho'!
and !mma_N00b, I recall you said you got photosets A & B done. Do take awesome wallpaper-worthy pictures. IF they come out as many; heck I don't care; more the merrier, lol. Just make the camera angles look awesome and Zip the pictures to me. You may leave a sample or 2 or 3 here in WME if you like. Same applies for the rest of the photosets while I'm on a Gran Turismo Hiatus. |
Very lovely song... I think this song is gonna played on a battle scene...involving these 2 characters. Seiji vs Chiaki II: Chiaki shows Seiji on how to drive more with his emotions and how to feel his car's "feelings", inducing a "Ghost"-like complex within him on how much can he understand his machine more than just driving it to its limits. Note: This is probably a sign where Seiji is gonna forever change his perception of racing, all thanks to Chiaki's guiding when she keeps leading Seiji while Seiji could hardly keep up with her all the time; only to finally do so at the end...after exhausting himself in concentration. (Seiji still won; so this is probably a good sign of improvement for the Wangan God, no? ) Since Chiaki will be the main guide for Seiji into understanding more on himself and his car; Seiji is going to have a lot of race sessions with Chiaki as he slowly improves his driving style using understanding of his machines that surpass common sense and logic. This is also one of the key ingredient that made Seiji into an even more greater racer than he already is.
