Finally I'm finished with part 1/2 of my thesis; the long text report. NExt is the log book, which I might finish on friday. SO PROCRASTINATION IS APPROVED... for now.

And I just torrented the WMMT4 OST.

Yes, I'm eargasming at the moment.

Declaration:
Midnight Cinderella's theme / debut: NEVER THROW AWAY.

Imagine *insert character here* encoutnering Midnight Cinderella on SSR7!!

*DIES because of epicosity*

Guess we'll have to renew our list of theme songs for the characters. biggrin.gif

Midnight Cinderella - Never Throw Away
Naoko Takahashi - Drifting into You
Chiaki Miyazaki - No Turning Back
Tsubasa Aramaki - THE FINAL COUNTDOWN

Anyway, how is the script going at last?! biggrin.gif

I'll allow Tsubasa to have 2 themes. FIrst is his current then 2nd is when his 86 transforms.

and RE-BIRTH - Seiji's renewal theme. (after Chiaki's changes to the Evo IX)

Haha, great choice. biggrin.gif

So Tsubasa's first theme will be the old Mad Desire - Stephy Martini; then once his Ghost 86 revives; it will be Final Countdown~ <3 :3

eeyup. I do script editing once I finish lunch; which I'm making right NAO! XD

Hmm... who would have "Pleasures of Speed"? I think this is the best theme for Seiji testing out Takumi's HKS Hypermax Evo with Raymond tailing them from behind. :/

[ Post merged on Jan 24 2012, 07:29 PM ]
and I'm thinking that Kujira fits well with "Highway Discipline"

OH MY GOD!!
"Taillight." So dramatic!! *faints* SO emotional!! ME WANT!!

Pleasures of Speed does sound fitting for test-driving for the calm mood. smile.gif

But for Takumi; I think it's best left for Loop of Fortune; considering it's what the RL person wanted; no? grin2.gif (Shh, try not to let him have all the fun with MT4 BGM yet...)

As for Highway Discipline; I guess it will do for Kujira, since he doesn't really have a fixed theme. :3

And...DAT TAILLIGHT... <3

Yeah, Takumi stays with Loop of Fortune.

and yes... DAT TAILIGHT!
possible scenes:

> Something like a tragedy-romance for Chizuru being told by Kujira to stay away from him (so that she won't die from chasing the Dead Zone R)
> Seiji Reminisces of AKiyama Chronicles / his past and ends up chasing a ghost of Daiki's 350Z Z-tune
> Some scene of racing that makes manly men tear jerk to the max.

Anyway, Will wait for the script done within a few more hours or so.

BAD NEWS: My computer's broken down after I went home and now I am forced to sit my ass on a cafe computer to read every single update that I can get my hands on during my free time. sad.gif!!!

But I'd try and see if I can still somehow continue my script writing on Day 3 once you start it. smile.gif

I'd try and find a way somehow...

And since broken home computer = no drawings...we'll just have to wait until somehow my home condition improves. sad.gif

Finally. The script has been edited completely. Honestly, Rin. You better take into consideration text control. I feel 16000 words with 31 pages worth of dialogue is too much; that itslf is already 1 pocketbook, my friend.

Try and limit it on day 3.

And I suggest you minimize Tsubasa's extensive dialogues. They are too long; just go straight to the main idea so do edit the part where he made that monologue with Rei, Oniko and the other girls.

Other notes to consider:

1. No one gives out the entire name of a car in a casual basis. They only do so if they talk with car enthusiasts / geeks (no offense to us) and when quoting in text. To girls, I feel abbreviations are enough for them to know what car Tsubasa is talking about.

2. Seiji is not spiritually inclined; meaning he doesn't believe much in ghosts and the like; although the word ghost was explained by Chiaki on the latter part (showing it as a representation / materialized manifest of Tsubasa's will power), Seiji doesn't consider even the word 'ghost' or anything supernatural in his own encyclopedia of life.

3. A script like this may not even last until 30 minutes tops. If you could minimize the extensive (though important) monologues; please do so. You wrote this so you have a better grasp of the main Idea than I do.

Once we've made & edited/ proofread all script for hachioji; release the FINAL script (with the changes and remove the striked words off) to make it cleaner. And include the titles of the Day episodes also in the text.

Best thought: Italicize descriptions to distinguish it from the dialogue and put it in a not-black-but-dark-shade color for referencing.

Keep those 2 thoughts in mind for the final script.

And here's the edited script by the way:

Ah, okay then...I'd try to keep the word numbers in check next time...sorry about that. sad.gif

And I'd try and put those things into consideration as well. I just feel like Tsubasa can sometimes be very complex at his way of explaining things. xD

I'd keep that in check.

And thanks for reminding me on Seiji...I guess I should read Daiki's story a bit more to understand him better.

I'd try and see what I can do about him next time...but I wonder will he ever change or not...

And for the script...I think more action is better than dialogues, right? I'd try and balance out them both on Day 3 since this one is obviously more tipped towards the dialogue part and lack action packing. :/

Thanks for the edited script...I'd read it throughly. smile.gif

Anyway, you can start Day 3 anytime now (Remember, it takes off right where Seiji left and Chizuru made her debut.)

lol, yeah you should read up on Akiyama Chronicles. Save it on your phone, save it as a word doc and read at home, or print it out (it'll be a whole lotta pages; but hey, you got at least a hard copy of that awesome story)

Dunno how I could start day 3 though. You could elaborate to me the possible scenes you'd do that start right after Chizuru's debut. I don't know much about Chizuru than you do so I'd leave the opening battle on your hands though.

Hmm, well...Chizuru is out there looking for opponents, as she's racing random racers in hopes of trying to catch those that will pull over once they lost so she can ask them some questions in regarding on what's going on lately on the Shutoku area, until she found Raymond Yamazaki in his R (Not sure which R was it again...I think you've mentioned it before...LOL)

Anyway, Day 3 is gonna be more action-packed and a bit balanced on the philosophical dialogue as well as casual chatting (including a little bit of antagonist feuds with the heroes...) biggrin.gif

Here are the races I am gonna confirm in Day 3:

Battle 1: Chizuru vs Raymond Yamazaki

BGM Recommended: LOVE IS A PRETENDER - PAMSY (Chizuru's current theme)

Battle intensity: ★★★★★★☆☆☆☆ (Pretty intense battle seeing as Chizuru's using a rather powerful car while Raymond's driving hard enough to keep her from chasing too close from time to time at C1 area. wink2.gif )

Battle 2: Kujira vs Midnight Cinderella (Surprise, eh? grin2.gif)

BGM Recommended: Never Throw Away (M.C's theme, right?)

battle Intensity: ★★★★★★★☆☆☆ (Intense; but the Dead Zone's curse hardly affected M.C's driving mood seeing as she's merely driving a lot harder than she used to when she's battling casually; this scene happens when Kujira seemed to be in a rather sad mood and he wanted to race someone to blow off a little bit of his gloom until M.C. came.

They both are introduced to each other later on.

Note: Kujira heard of M.C, but never really get to see her. In here; Kujira recognizes her skill after the battle. M.C also heard of rumors about the Dead Zone, but only found out that the similarity between him and the infamous Silverblood lies obviously in seeing the actual person.

Battle 3: Tsubasa vs Jintei

BGM Recommended: Dark Side Style (This seemed to fit Jintei for some reason...LOL it sounded evil...)

Battle Intensity: ★★★★★★☆☆☆☆ (Not too intense; seeing as Jintei do not know what to expect when racing against Tsubasa while test-driving his newly repaired and tuned Ghost 86.

Jintei was blown very far away (like Seiji vs Tsubasa for the first time) after Tsubasa's Ghost 86 stayed so close to him all the time at the early half of battle until Jintei cracks under pressure and spun out after the tunnel path (Haneda Tunnel (Sp?) )

Battle 4: Chiaki vs Seiji II

BGM Recommended: Seiji's GT5 Theme (forgot name; sorry >_<)

Battle Intensity: ★★★★★★★★☆☆ (very intense; for Seiji is very curious as to what really motivates Chiaki to drive the way she does now; passing Seiji so easily everytime when other casual drivers couldn't even keep up with him at all generally at the Wangan.

This is a battle that symbolize the sign of Seiji is getting more and more interested in learning Chiaki's motivation in driving and what it really means in driving fast.

Battle 5: Tsubasa vs Seiji vs Kujira

BGM Recommended: First; let it be either Re-Birth or Highway Discipline; you decide. wink2.gif

Battle Intensity: ★★★★★★★★★★ (SUPER INTENSE: Seiji and Kujira were having a rather friendly test-driving race session in testing out their newly tuned ride (Chiaki's settings done to Seiji on Step 1 level; while Kujira messes with some of his other settings; knowing that Tsubasa's Ghost 86 will revive very soon).

Here's the cue of the next BGM: The Final Countdown (Arrival of the revived Ghost 86)

As they both raced; they heard of a familiar engine sound roaring loudly from behind and they saw the Ghost 86 charging from behind at an insanely fast speed; shocking both Kujira and Seiji to the point that they couldn't go full throttle quick enough and the Ghost 86 passed them through as if they're standing still.

After tha big lead; both drivers managed to catch up to him and started overtaking him very slowly; recognizing his revival and were very impressed as his sudden improvement in driving the car as well as the car's performance.

The whole battle is going to extend throughout the entire Metropolitan Tokyo Area's halfway; Wangan Line and beyond other few connected areas nearby.

Assumed battle length: Over 30 KM.

Ryugu is bringing Mion and Rei to see the big battle along; but they're having a very hard time catching up from behind, due to the difference in level as drivers. laugh.gif

But Ryugu's soundwave hearing has made it clear; The Ghost 86 has completely revived.

Well...if you wanna know any more plans on what I am doing on Day 3's planning; do tell me what you wish to know. smile.gif

Note: Finally, I only need ONE more thing; The persona comparison between Tsubasa and your other 4 top aces of Speed Legend. biggrin.gif

That's one of the key ingredient of how I will form Tsubasa later on at the oncoming Days. :3

Whoa....so many battles... O____O

Definitely a whole lot more action packed than Day 2. ohmy.gif

Also, Gunma...Rin isn't the only one curious about the persona comparison here...ya know? grin2.gifD

and I've a feeling that the battle of Tsubasa vs Seiji vs Kujira is going to be one hell of a match...

And poor Ryugu couldn't catch up with those 3... xDD

I think you were referring to the MCR R34. So that's one video down as I have the video file. smile.gif

And before we get back to discussing... ULTIMATE ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED. Not sure if someone else accomplished this in Maxi 3DX+

Obtain a King using a CBAR35 SPEC V

Yes, I used Keisuke Mamoru's R35 and took out the Yokohane King. The king was someone I know; highly skilled. Held the king ranks quite a lot of times. Took me 3 tries before beating him using the Takumi Fujiwara / Intial D style of attack (slow first half, fast last half) Won by 3m from the side.

I was using the soundtrack: Taillight. WMMT4 on 3DX+ FTW!!

If no one has done this yet I might as well be the first in Maxi (Int'l) history!! biggrin.gif

Doing persona descriptions of Supido's 4 heroes now for VS Tsubasa comparison.

Insights on the day 3 races:

and don't you think that having Kujira, Seiji & Tsubasa race on Day 3 already is too sudden? It's best to have that as a finale; like how Kijima just ran with the s30 and BlackBird separately and had their 3-way battle at the end of the arc.

Maybe substitute someone from either Seiji or Kujira on that battle. And we don't want it to be a supernatural battle. Let's say; this time Tsubasa's 86 is able to easily keep up with Seiji and Kujira's (or whichever of the 2 and who gets replaced). He's not pushing it as it just came from tuning. If he pushed it too hard right after the tuning, this might show that Tsubasa might not have any appreciation for Chiaki's & Raymond's efforts. Though I hate to use other-anime puns but remember what Kazuo Ota mentioned to Rikako once the Devil Z was done and what Akio did to it (he didn't push the car though he drove all night and had it back on the RGO Shop in an instant)

And a few insights on Midnight Cinderella.

She has no idea about the Silverblood incident; and never cared to know of its origins; as no one at this very moment (other than Seiji, Raymond, Naoko & Kazuhiko) even bothers to tell of such an old tale (years passed and almost the old-gen teams & racers forgot about it by then except for the ones mentioned)

M.C. just doesn't race anyone (data taken from the original TXR profile); she'd be more intrigued in racing someone like Katerina in her S7 as it gives her nostalgia, being an american car and all; and mostly runs out during midnight, of course. She's someone who never cared about rumours and believes in her own worth, improving in her own pace, believing in her own skills; but showing immense appreciation to her combatants and fellow drivers alike.

Seiji's Theme was 5oul on D!splay 2.0

And though I'd accept the "ghost" terminology and that the explanation suffices; best we not make things too supernatural even for an 86. I don't want it to be too supernatural (hence why Silverblood just turns out to be a pigment of imagination done up by fear & rumours in the end of AKiyama Chronicles) or make it come out like the ghost of Akina or something. Let's prevent the rendition of the 2 "ghost" cars of the 2 popular anime series Initial D & Wangan Midnight. Let's veer off that form of end-product.

I'd allow for Chiaki VS Seiji II to appear like the Akio VS Shima run in the R200 Club arc (where Shima's running low on motivation after losing to Kuroki's R33) only this time instead of Seiji losing motivation; he yearns to understand what Chiaki's motivation is.

And I guess I might have to redo the Tsubasa VS Jintei race in my PSP and use the black + TRD Aero / stock aero (you choose) 86 than the S.Shigeno ver. based one.

Note: we don't want to choke our viewers with too many races; this isn't a battle-stage kind of racing graphic novel anime or something. Let's keep it balanced.

Oh...thanks for sharing your thoughts...

So we should have the battle of these 3 delayed further then? If that's the case then I guess it's alright...wouldn't want to give all the good stuffs out too soon, right?

I can easily put the improvement on Tsubasa's slow progress into consideration since he still got a long way to go after all.

So MC only race certain people...much like Keisuke perhaps? I'd put that into consideration; and with that...I guess I'd scratch Kujira vs MC for now. smile.gif

Instead I guess she still got her anticipated debut on her metting with the S7...I almost forgot about that...sorry. LOL

I guess Ghost 86's development should be slowed down a lot further since once again; SSS concept from Kuroi's description did gave me reconsideration for Tsubasa and his machine still has a lot of boundaries that they need to broke through one by one...so the progress will be much slower this time; will that be okay?

Nothing way too supernatural; I got that now. smile.gif

Anyway, I think the Shigeno mobile should do...since it's also the car that has more odds in appearing on GT5 vids, no?

And I'd try to keep the number of battles in check now...LOL it sure is kinda hard to keep both dialogue and battles on a balanced number sometimes... -.-

Cinderella never raced Keisuke at all. She'd wish to race someone such as Tomo (which happened later in the saga on Episode 10 of the vids) and would only race if requested by old acquaintances such as Raymond Yamazaki.

At this point, she's nothing more than a Wangan Enigma; much like how BlackBird / Devil Z appears - at random time periods & occurrences.

So I left her character sheet half-assed as well...

Name: Ekaterina Ivanova (Екатерина Иванова, read as "Yekaterina Ivanova", can can be also called as Katerina)
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Driving Experience: 4-5 years
Voice Acting suggestion: refined, mature, and most importantly, has a Russian flair
Car: Honda NSX (700 HP NA V8)
Licence Plate: 72-48

Nickname: The Wangan Black Raptor

Appearance: Blonde, long-haired, slender, elegant, a Russian beauty to sum it all up.

Description:

> Descendant of a line of war veterans; great grandfather served the Soviet army during WWII, father and grandfather experienced the USSR's perspective of the Cold War also
> Japan-born, Russian-raised, Russian father and Japanese mother
> Won races at the Moscow Unlimited 500, a drag race series for road cars. This competition honed her tuning capabilities.
> Also grabbed victories at various run-what-you-brung and club races in closed circuits, especially at Spa Francorchamps, Belgium.
> Moved back to Japan 2 years before the Hachioji chronicles' beginning to visit her sickly mother. Her mother recovered 4 months after and she decided to stay in Japan for a few years.
> Will make friends with the main character sooner or later, but not as a love interest, since she's not interested in such relationships yet (still single)
> Appreciate all kinds of cars, would give a slap to both parties when there's an argument between "fanboys"
> Owns a cat whom she named "Lewis"
> May be silent and a little snobby but she's actually enthusiastic and lively, just not really hyperactive
> Knows a variety of languages. She is a linguist, but speaks a little Russian every now and then
> Known on the street for her friendly and charming personality also
> Being such a western girl, her aura differs greatly from the rest. People who can feel someone else's aura (like Oniko) cannot even recognize what's going on with Katerina.

Driving style:

> Quasi-aggresive racer (just nudges and taps the opponent's car), but drives rather "stealthily" and "stays under the radar" during night time.
> Quick learner; just 2-3 practice laps around a certain track and she can grasp the ideal racing line properly
> Retaliates when provoked enough
> Dynamic; drag tuning skills gives her the edge on straight lines and her experience in closed circuits makes her a tough opponent on technical courses too

Details on car:

She drives a 700 HP Honda NSX NA2 with a full carbon body and an aero kit similar to a race car. Nobody knows what's the exact nature of such a powerful engine, the only thing they know is that it is naturally aspirated. It lacks top-end torque, but this NSX is very streamlined when it comes to aerodynamics. It benefits greatly with the use of slipstreaming.

Likes: Soothing music such as beach house, firearms (see special things worth a mention for more details), shopping, fine dining, anime, movies novels stuff about war, adaptations on Sun Tzu's The Art of War, cats

Dislikes: Noisy and immature people, people who think Russians are hardcore communists, one-sided fanboys who argue all the time, straight-out perverts (even though she's fine with some who can act normal), cheesy pop music, Eurobeat, people who whine every now and then

Special Thing worth a mention: She is also a firearms enthusiast; she owns a wide range of guns (mostly Russian), especially an AK-47, a Makarov, and an SVD sniper rifle, all deactivated for collection/display purposes. She is also active in the shooting scene; she visits the firing range regularly and participates in shooting events. She's able to grab a satisfactory amount of awards from these competitions. Much of these were from her father.

This is the final version. Now you're clear to introduce her on an episode later in the series. (have to hunt for her BGM though. Probably some Armin Van Buuren.)

*Was the guy really THAT tough when you took the achievement? Seems a lot tougher than the top gun here at my arcade... tongue.gif*

Anyway, I think these are the battles that are confirmed after consideration of the SSS concept; your thoughts and the overall development pace.

Battle 1: Chizuru vs Raymond Yamazaki
BGM Recommended: LOVE IS A PRETENDER - PAMSY (Chizuru's current theme)
Battle intensity: ★★★★★★☆☆☆☆

Battle 2: Tsubasa vs Jintei
BGM Recommended: Dark Side Style (This seemed to fit Jintei...it's EVIL)
Battle Intensity: ★★★★★★☆☆☆☆

Battle 3: Chiaki vs Seiji II
BGM Recommended: 5oul on D!splay 2.0
Battle Intensity: ★★★★★★★★☆☆

Battle 4 is still in consideration...but I have nothing in mind at the moment... pinch2.gif

Well...I guess you can never have too much races in one episode after all... ^^;

But having 3 battles are already a LOT..considering how long a battle could take...

IMO, you're already doing very good on planning battles and action parts; but do remember to put a good deal of effort on the story and dialogue writing part too, since making a Day episode of Tsuchiya Chronicles is almost like crafting a masterpiece; you need balance on both elements to make everything work. happy.gif

But I do have confidence in your decisions; since you too; somewhat like Tsubasa himself...are a very fast thinker and can make quick decisions. smile.gif

Yes. Yes he was. Took me 3 tries with the following outcomes.

Round 1 (test) - was trailing behind him by 20 meters constant. My bad move was not slowing down on the starting point as I was on the outside after the Toll gates where it veers to a light right and he was on my lane but we were side-by-side.
Round 2 (take 1) - nearly won. I let him lead on this run. And I was able to narrow down the gap to a side-by-side battle on Daikoku (road connecting Wangan Line & Yokohane) but I messed up when I plan to use his Evo as a slingshot for me to take the daikoku roundabout faster (I was on the inside) and end up hitting the outer wall.
Round 3 (take 2) - Terrible run. I tapped the walls and was a constant 70 meter gap. Was about to give up and told myself to give it all on my last run; hoping the tides would turn; but if I failed I still give myself a pat on the shoulder.
Round 4 (take 3) - The real deal. Did the same thing on round 2. I followed his line intensely, turning early at some corners as my 35 scrubs off a lot of speed if I take the same lining as his Evo which is lighter in physics compared to my heavier Spec V. Things start to go my way by the time we reach Daikoku. I got the gap to a bumper-to-bumper once we exited the corer, nearly hitting a traffic Corolla. He pulled away a bit and I plan to do a PIT maneuver when entering the light corners. Entering the roundabout; I was hoping to tap his rear; but I didn't. I stayed on gear 6 then downshifted when I got near the inside and just passed the apex. Took the next right turn before Wangan Line and countersteered early as I was still far off the side wall. When I saw that I was gaining on him, I jumped to the right side to avoid tapping his rear and losing for good. I took a dangerous straight-line; past traffic. I got in between 2 trucks by going through the middle of the lanes nearly having contact. When the road was clear, I glanced at the advantage meter: -1m then down to 0 (red). I didn't do the glitch thing that everyone uses (shake the wheel side to side to get faster) and just believed in my 35. The next thing I new before the launchpad/deep ramp, I got ahead by 2 meters. I held the wheel as tight as I could to avoid unecessary swerving... then BAM! I am the Yokohane King. I don't care if I lose it by tomorrow now that I achieved the impossible / what hasn't been done before.

The guy ought to be surprised I guess. tongue.gif

Anyway...thanks Kuroi for the encouragement. I guess I make fast decisions sometimes; but I also met a lot of problems...the only way would be to keep the mistakes in check and try not to repeat them somehow. LOL laugh.gif

I be waiting patiently for the comparison NAO... *ish waiting like a boss; eating chocolate and cup noodles while Youtubing*
