TV-Nihon has just announced they're going to be subbing the movie! As the cast includes several Kamen Rider actors, which they are generally known for subbing, they've decided to pick it up. Look forward to a high quality job in for SD and HD!

At least someone had the Blu-Ray to loan for them. If not, expect a ridiculous and swift ban.

Holy Jesus if they do the BluRay I will squeal like a schoolgirl. I knew there was a reason I liked TV-N.

I can confirm they are doing the Blu-Ray. Seeing as I was the one that contacted them and requested them to sub the movie. That and I am providing them with the Blu-Ray. Hope everyone enjoys it when it comes out.

Heh, I still look at the site every now and then. I still have a interest in WM, its just after I stepped down from Admin I distanced myself from the site.

The only reason I thought of coming here is a member of TV-Nihon recognized my name, so I thought I'd let you guys know about the WM movie.

I will admit that if you concentrate very hard...the voice sounds similar. Sort of. Or maybe I just haven't watched the anime in a long time.

Oh well...but I really like how they gave Akio his jacket! The dull red one with the button-up collar. That was pretty cool. And they tried to do the actor of Tatsuya up so his hair looked similar to that used in the anime/manga, instead of the almost-completely-shaved actor from the old movie.
And Eriko had the boots from the anime! But the actor seemed a bit young-looking for Eriko. Dunno how to explain it...but I always saw Eriko as a bit older than what she appeared in here.

I don't know about the actors for Reina and Ishida though. Didn't match the image of the characters from the manga/anime at all. Ishida didn't even have the moustache...

But all-in-all, I think this movie was great, despite a few things that I didn't like...

As for Reina's actor, I have to agree that she's not really the best choice for a character that's supposed to be a beautiful model and show host...but I WILL say that she looks nice in that one scene where she's looking in the mirror as "Transmission" begins. That's the only time out of the entire movie where I was like "Okay, so she's attractive from THAT angle I guess." I don't like to be like "She's ugly" because that's not fair. She's not ugly. She's just not Reina material.

Also, in my opinion, the Z redlining in this movie is an amazing sound, and I wish my car sounded like that.
But it probably wasn't a real recording anyway...

Out of curiosity, seeing as it is Blu-Ray, what will the filetype be?

Considering TV-Nihon's Bluray release of All Riders vs Dai-Shocker, the filetype will be MP4.

Aren't Blurays mostly being ripped as HQ MP4s nowadays?

MKV is used a lot. well its H264 / x264 in mkv.

oh so what they meant by the series ended was the anime ... i thought the manga already ended... yea i hope they make the second season though, i wanna see the ACE 32 R and ACE 34R ...
