Subs were ehhhh. They were okay for the most part, but basically anytime Ma talked, or they talked about car parts, or they talked about locations, the subs were wrong. Ehh.

Eh. Maybe they'll make a v2? whistling.gif

We can correct them easily in super-acurate way and release "The Wangan Midnight Expressway forums correct subs" grin2.gif

Really? Do you have access to T-N's script?! ohmy.gif If the file were softsubbed I wouldn't have bothered to complain and would've fixed everything on my own. Sadly, it's hardsubbed.

hi, been a while since my last post.

anyway if you want to get the subs there is no problem to get them from a hardsubbed video. basically, when you rip subs from a dvd, you convert images into words. There are soft that works on hardsubbed videos like subrip except that you have to define the zone where are printed the subsin the picture. basically that's a bit more difficult to use than normal rip from dvds but it allows to steal from another source.

PS: just checked, subrip from version 1.20 allows to extract subs from hardsubbed video.

Hope it helps and that i didn't made a mistake as i was on the phone while typing smile.gif

Yes, I know about that method as it's the only way to make an editable softsub from the subpictures on DVDs and all. The problem is that it's buggy (I/L, etc) and doesn't help you with typesetting. A little too much effort for me. laugh.gif

I will convert hardsub into softsub manually in a 1-2 days, I hope. It will be there: http://notabenoid.com/book/6840/20726/

just tried it on wangan, basically it detect the light and explosion as letters and don't detect the letters... but i guess it's just because i didn't set it up correctly... anyway, if you want english subs easy to get, just wait for the malaysian copy of the dvd lol

For now, I'll compile a list of corrections and fire it off to T-N, see what happens.

What raw was it for? Because I'm using N1's and it lags about a second apart or more.
