Hey guys, what's your opinion? I believe it does not make a difference because if it did, then Namco would've notified us this long time ago. It's against their job to hide something that we should be aware of but in this case, they're not.

I've noticed that I'm a little faster with Aero Set A, back when I still had MT3, with my R34.

Same with the spoilers.

Back in the wonderful years of 2007-2008, when I've finally got all the dess-up parts and had a 820hp R34, I would switch out my aero kits so I could catch up with my rival, who had a R32. Areo Set C was too heavy, but I was able to keep up with my rival with Aero Set A, even though I lost, at the end of Wangan, east or west.

Btw, I'm sure that there are relevent threads like this.

Yea i agree that the sizes do change when it comes to aero settings and i tried all aero sets on my 32, I didn't feel a difference. I changed the set which looked the best through my eyes and just left it as it is. And if someone could provide me some physical proof change of performance such as video comparing the two, then i'll gladly believe it does affect it.

Well there isn't a WMMT3 over here, anymore. They decided that four MT2s are better than two MT3s.

Well, we now have two MT2s, but they still don't want MT3.

Everything makes a difference except the stickers and neons.

Not according to pros and personal feel. Stickers and neons make your car heavier, thus more ramming power. It also makes the car turn very differently..

Yes it does. I feel better with my R32 with aero set B instead of Aero set A

stickers weigh less than a pound...how can it affect your car by that much...

Well, if you go to their YouTube videos and ask what setup they use, they go, "Dressup makes no difference. Just use whatever."

you know i was about to post this question myself...

i cant say i notice a difference i just put the parts on that i like the look of.

maybe like, the people believing that it does, makes a difference, like placebo effect, know what i mean?

anyway, this whole debate will never end, either side will be in full denial.

what namcobandai means is that dress up parts wont affect ur cars capability
as in HP
but it really does affect other things such as weight of car and
how ur car handles

Does your statement not follow the question: "Do dress-up parts affect my car's performance?" & No shit it doesn't affect HP, that's why its called DRESS UP, not TUNE UP.

never believe what namco says

they've been bullshitting to us for a bit. if those TA-ing the fastest times say that parts affect the performance, i believe them. because they ARE the best players around and they know their shit

plus majority of the people believes and feels that dressup affects the car in some way or another.

what kind of bullshit? provide us with links and statements please

I'll tell you what.
Put on Aero Kit C, 3D GT wing, and a stock hood and then do Aero Kit A, wingless, and carbon ducted, and run Wangan on both and tell me what happens. You don't even have to feel the difference. Just tell which is faster.
