Here's what's going on.
I didn't pay much attention to the links within the board because I figured Perry and co. were using my FTP responsibly and under the single term I outlined, which was simple:
-upload anything in the wme folder I made under the teamgwailo.org domain
It was also understood (and expressed blatantly by Perry in this thread
http://wmexpressway.net/index.php?showtopic=28883) that these links would be used as ALTERNATIVE links, and that the FTP wouldn't be used as a primary method of hosting all of wme's stuff because that costs me a lot of money.
As time went on, I noticed iDworld-related stuff going into the wme folder, but I decided to let it slide, even though this was just adding more money to my bill while saving Perry money, without me asking for anything in return. 5.29gb of Eurobeat for iDworld was put into that folder for everyone to leech off of, costing us huge amounts of money.
Months went by without me looking much into it, then the crash on our end happened, and I was notified. I came to this thread and saw that not only our links didn't work, but the primary ones didn't either. Reports of links going to Galbadia Hotel only made me question the use of our ftp further.
Looking into the board more, I found that the latest four episdoes of the anime were put into a folder that didn't even belong to the teamgwailo domain under our ftp, but syrendesigns.net, another domain set up for my girlfriend for her to host school and portfolio-related material. Nomake or Perry saw fit to go into this domain, set up their own folder, and host the latest episodes from this domain, instead of the wme folder under teamgwailo that was originally agreed upon. This further sapped money out of Flyer and my wallets while Perry had effectively free hosting for pretty much anything he wanted under both domains, without ever telling either of us or asking permission.
As well, those previously-mentionned eurobeat albums for iD were recently discovered by me after I started looking into this more. The administration were making money off sales of the albums that they were hosting for free on our FTP, like the SEB albums, at zero cost to them. 100% profit for them while we're taking the bandwidth hit.
So, as of right now, there are no plans to replace the wme folder in its original spot to repair the links in the downloads sections. Nor will those four latest episodes of the anime be available, or will any of the iD-world stuff be back, because of the abuse of a service I voluntarily offered to the admins as a gesture of good will.
Unless terms are negotiated where we're compensated for the hosting we're providing for the site, the administration will either have to find somewhere else to leech bandwidth from, or pay for it themselves. But I refuse to be sapped of money any longer while the administration keeps saving and abusing the opportunity I provided for them.
That's where the media situation is at right now.
