You have to hold it in 5th or itll go to N But its on MT2 anyway |

^^ That happened to me in hk with an mt2 machine, the gear shifter would just drop off on 3rd and 5th gear... So kinda screwed up... on my fd...

Total shutdown of controls Happened to me twice, once in a HiAce which i wanted to nonshade, and again to a BNR32 which, once again, I wanted to non shade. btw, wrong forum! Someone moved this thread to Polls. |

I had to scrape through chapter 199, barely unshaded with my R34. On the 5th gear. Nearly gave me a heart attack. |

the gear shift damage is diasterous back in mt and mt 2 times ... i recall most of the machines were down due to the shifters (cos of the gacha boost)... or use AUTO ... which i dont mind ...
some players curse and swear when they found out the shifters spolit when they play in story mode to get it unshaded ... thankfully in version 3 and dx the problem is less frequent as the cabinets were pretty well maintained by the technicians or shifters replaced with brand new ones  This post has been edited by bless on Oct 18 2009, 12:04 AM |

most often the problem i get is broken gears. usually its 5th or 3rd sometimes they will slip into neutral (not the actual shifter though, the car just goes into neutral).
sometimes the steering wheel has no feedback thats only happened to me like once from what i remember. |

one time on MT2, the gas doesn't go full throttle. boost meter doesn't go to 2.0. it stays up to 1.5.

i can actually live with a numb/loose steering wheel, cuz it doesn't shake/vibrate on the bumps.
i don't see a lot of shifter issues anymore, mostly just gearboxes in bad condition. i really hate how frustrated people slam their shifter so much. |
