what about audacity? open source (free) you can make project files etc, once you have lame_enc.dll you can export to mp3 and a few other formats.

while waiting for WMMT3DX+ music to show up on youtube someday, I've bidded and won myself a copy of WMMT1&2 CD. I'm currently working on ripping flac files and will be uploaded for you guys. These files are around 980kbps~1100kbps, which is REALLY high quality. Unfortunately, it won't be playable on your mp3 players, maybe ps3.

Disc 1 has finish ripping but has problems, I'm gonna rip the CD again
Disc 2 is finished and will be uploaded soon after disc 1 is uploaded
I will most likely include the scans of the CD arts as well

WMMT3DX+ music will be uploaded into the album as soon as higher quality mp3s or flvs show up (mainly waiting on SELECT (maxi 3dx+), I'm also planning on doing a "This is my Destiny" (arcade mix) using a similar style I did with "Enjoy the Process"

I just had an idea here.

Metropolitan Highway course lasts for 12 minutes right? if someone drove to the very end, they would have spare 180 seconds (3 minutes), why not record during those times so that theres no car sounds or anything like that? just background noise will affect it :S

background noises are hard to get rid of if you want to keep a high quality
recording from the machine also requires access to the video output of the machine, so might as well wait for the experts to record

The necessary music for the album is pretty much complete, I hope technojp on youtube will upload the HQ ver of feel the passion remix and acid runner remix. His rips are really high quality

I haven't uploaded the FLACs yet cuz I don't have wired internet at home, these uploadings take forever, so I have to find time to do it at school

I remastered "Stay where you are" in a professional manner, ie. No clipping and a good fade in and more importantly, out. When my internet is back up, do you want it? I've uploaded it to youtube, but that was part of my blog and it is much worse quality, and not worth posting here.

Just joined the forums to thank you for these awesome rips. I've just recently gotten into Wangan and really love the music. We just got a machine here and I will gladly help you rip songs if I can.

Are their direct audio ports on the machine? I may be able to talk to the employees and get some high quality rips for you guys.

Oh, man, you're so into spy territory, and welcome to WME! But remember, he's also using you as much as you're using him! The only think missing is a gun and a femme fatale. Don't expect your ass to be saved, but any of a good quality, clean recording will do for us!

Do you actually know how to get into the BGM section of the debug menu or whatever?

I do not. I frequent a local arcade and am friends with the owner/employees. I'm sure I could get good clean rips if I ask. I would just need to know what to do.

And that, my friend, is the hard part.
