ii guess many of the members who posted in the car threads always face this..

"whats the best setup for blah blah car"

and we guys need to repeatly posted up the same DU setup which was posted a few pages ago.

my suggestion is that close and delete the current thread,
and made new threads with the setup of each and every car
plus the charactics in each car a simple detail will do.

its just a suggestion.

mods if you think is useless you can close this topic.

thanks again for reading my post.

soo i guess u mean the mods/TS create a new thread of each brand car, then we post recommended DU for each car + each uniques, then the mods?TS will update the 1st page, like that?

of course we'll need to put multiple setups for each car, and of course there is no best setup. Just what the driver is comfortable with. If we post like 4 setups per car, then it really will get out of hand. Do you propose to get all this data? If so it's a plausible idea I guess.

ii could try getting all the data and perhap collate it but ii would need everyone help in terms of setup

4 setups? ii was thinking 2 these 2 will be the lightest setup and the heaviest setup(probably).

sorry geo to bother you but do you think that idea will work ?

It'll be a waste of time and bandwidth. 99.99% of people don't read the first page so it would be made extremely redundant. Also there are those who don't believe DU does anything which only creates conflicting perspectives among everyone on the forum new and old.

Basically, no.

so yeah.
actually my thoughts is for those who believe they could just take a look at the first page of the thread.
true maybe perhaps people don't look at the first page but we can direct them over at the first page.

Well if we tell them to go to the first page, it'll be the same as just telling them a setup. And even if we do tell them, they probably won't and ask anyway.

I'm not sure though. The idea has merit, and would stop people from posting setup threads, but setup threads aren't really much of a problem either at the moment, so unless they start popping up a lot now then I think this might be a pass.

Mostly jerks just PM mods about setups... I don't know shit about your personal car so don't PM me. I'll just probably ban you
