I won't be playing for a few days after the US release date. Exams coupled with the fact that I'm waiting for my "setup" to arrive/be built.

The wait will be worth it. From now on, I refuse to play driving simulations with a joystick and trigger...

Sadly the gamestop i preordered at isnt doing midnight launch.......DAMN!!! oh well calling in sick tommorow, and playing forza 4 all day

I remember when F3 came out, the word got out to me year advisor that I was skipping a day of school to play and he called me in the middle and told me that it better have been a damn good game to skip school and it sure was.

f**king excited for this shit. Hope they have limited edition in stock since I cbf pre-ordering.

I better be also to import cars from Forza 3. f**king going to miss my A-class Exige if I don't.

Got my LE copy today!! btw they import selected cars only.

Got my LCE copy & mandatory rape without lube at Gameslop this afternoon. Will be fun once I can sit down without my wallet hurting.

Credits and cars in garage import to fm4?

My Driving Level imported... not sure about credits or cars yet. Installing content right now.

BUT... You CAN buy in game tokens (with MS points) to purchase a car if you're too lazy or noobish to earn credits the proper way... Seriously?? /WTF

also... "They" (Turn 10 I suppose) gifted me 28,000 credits and 4 cars for playing and importing my Forza 3 profile. Not all bad news I guess.

Meh, it's fun, but still not anywhere near realistic. Snap oversteer is ridiculous in this game.

And still no good aero selection for most cars. : /

I'm not really sure what to make of Forza 4...

There's so much stuff to do, it's kind of irking; I don't know where to go.

I did some World Tour and I ended up getting a Level 5 Car Annuity to Nissan, allowing me to buy free parts...

My Devil Z replica is insane, but it doesn't look anywhere near like it.

This is what has bothered me the most about all the Forza games. That and wheel selection. Its somewhat forgivable when you think of all the extra work they'd have to do to develop high-poly models of about 500+ cars, but still...

And they added the option to remove the bumpers of my Z432! GREAT! But why the HELL when I select the front aero "spook" does it also paint my headlights the body color!?!?

Also would have been nice to see an Autovista option for most of the cars, rather than a small minority. But again, realistic expectations for development. I would have been happy if there were just a Jeremy Clarkson commentary for each car, but I guess Turn 10 ran out of money to throw at him.

Unicorn cars transfer over, so in my case.. my spirit r went to my profile.

And you get 60k if you have already had some good progress in fm3 and if you are level 50, you get the badge, "Forza Veteran." ^^;

You get a good amount of starter cars too from your save.

There are a number of things about the game, that really discourage me from playing it, but there are other things that makes me want to play it even more.

And that's Community. I love it.

I know, right? I understand leaving out the "harder" stuff I mentioned before, but is it REALLY that difficult to not put shit on the lights and just allow us to apply vinyl layers onto the windows and AERO (FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-) ourselves if we choose to want it? Not to mention they removed the SR20DET swap for the Z432 which is what, a few physics calculations?

MAYBE, just maybe, they'll change some things with future DLC. I wouldn't hold my breath expecting anything other than more cars, though. However, I think it's more likely that they'll do a DLC for weather effects before the other simple fixes I mentioned are even considered. It's an incredibly long shot, but I'm itching for a wet lap on the TGTT.


So far I love the game, better than Forza 3 or any other racing game for that matter (Porsche is one of my favorite manufacturers, but I'll take the RUF-raping EA gave us over nothing). But some of this omitted stuff is just mind-blowingly dumb.
