Definitely Best NFS ever! after some tweaks and optimizing steering wheel configuration the game is something like "a very nice-looking lame GTR Evo" It fells surprisingly good. Of course the physics model is not as good as the oryginal Simbin series, but it's really fun to drive. No comparision to the rest of NFS series...

it has nice visuals, but the handling and the AI totally wreck the game for me.

btw I play simulators for about 4 years (F1c, rFactor, GTR2, GTR Evo, iRacing) and think Shift 2 is quite good for a relax after hours all you need to do is spend some time on a steering wheel configuration and install few addons

for NFS standards Shift 2 is absolutely, astonishingly and definitely brilliant. With mod I posted before it's almost a sim! while the rest of the series is pure arcade

riight so that mod totally changes the physics in the game or what?

i suppose with the physics fixed thats half the problems gone lol. is drifting any easier?

drift is harder than shift 1 =/

yeah normally it is i know, but i was asking that guy because he got a physics mod for it (totally changes the handling i guess)

yeah it improves driving model, but as I said before proper steering wheel configuration is also very important. When I ran the game for the first time (on default sets) it was undriveable and very lame.

unfortunately drifting is almost impossible and there's no drifting mod

Lol I picked up Shift 2 a few months ago for Xbox 360 for $7

Drifting is way easier with a slow car, I just used a default S14.

So yea.... anyone still play? >.<

I do, Brought last week and max out level 20 already. I'm up to A class race.
I using G27 Wheels - i didn't drift with that, so hard >.<
